I am being conservative with San Antonio but I could see them being a top 5 team as soon as next year. Similar to where the Rockets were this year but with Wemby instead of Jalen Green. Putting them in 9th for now.
They lost 4 of their top 6 guys. With a 5th coming off surgery.
I'd be genuinely shocked if Boston finishes top 3 in the East, in 2026.

Swap Orlando with Cleveland and I agree.
Mosley is completely clueless on how to run a NBA offense.

I have Cleveland 3. Boston 10. And I'm being nice, they are cooked.

Well we didn’t see Paolo and Franz the whole season and we’re adding Suggs who is borderline AS. Black takes a leap or if Jase is a better Cole Anthony this is the best team in the east

This is pretty much how I see it -- although I'd swap Indiana and Detroit, and as usual there's at least a half-dozen teams just below who might replace any of these 12 if/when there are significant injuries

I know Carlisle is a good coach but I have trouble seeing that.
Nembhard could be poised for a breakout season and Siakam will do his thing. But having to rely on Mathurin starting seems like a shakey proposition. He's very inconsistent and a bit of a hothead.
Having Huff try to replace Turner seems like quite the drop off in talent. We'll see if Jackson signs the QO and if he does, i assume he's still not fully ready by the start of the season. I'd probably prefer Bryant but they kept Bradley.

biased Bucks fan here, but surprised so many people have the Pacers ahead of the Bucks. Do people just don't think Hali was that important to the success? And turner to a lesser degree?

I think it's perfectly reasonable for the Mavs to have a high variance in perception. You have Kyrie coming back in January, AD, and maybe Flagg has a borderline LeBron rookie year and that makes a pretty damn good team..... Or you have a 33 yo guard who relies on quickness coming off major knee surgery, a top 15 player who is notoriously made of glass, and a rookie that is only going to be a slightly positive player in a tough west. Wouldn't shock me if they were a 4 seed or the 10th pick

The Magic have added a couple of good assistant coaches. They added Shammgod last week and Prunty this week. I'll be surprised if they aren't in the top 15 offenses next season.JujitsuFlip wrote:There ain't no way ORL is going to be the #1 seed in the East lolazcatz11 wrote:Chuck Everett wrote:Just my preliminary thoughts so far.
