We had way too many #2 guys last year. And likely at higher salaries.

Please let Ham go. His was another narrative (of being a top coach) that had no basis. I feel the same way about Cassell.

But then how will we defend our NBA Cup Championship?! Do you think TPrince can do it alone?

Yup. He's 25.

not only is he 25, but he's 25 with a massive development interruption at a very crucial point. obviously, that was his fault. but just looking at cause and effect and what's in front of him now, there's big time potential for a leap if he buys in. the guy was putting up numbers pretty much out of the gate with Houston, but i assume it was just him going off of raw talent (of which he has a a lot). He was probably not very coachable at that point. Then he lost everything and had to go play overseas. If he has finally accepted that he's not god, and he buys into the coaching, i think we will see a big leap from him.

So far, the offseason moves are telling me that the Bucks believe this too, as KPJ remains the front runner for our second option. Depending on the relationship between Giannis and the front office, which is often painted as him standing there with his arms folded and them trying to run around and please him with like some guy dating a girl who is way out of his league, we may still make a move for another second fiddle candidate. But I hope the relationship is more of an ongoing dialogue and I hope that if we dont make that big move it's because management and Giannis both see the same things in KPJ that i do.

And that's what he is now still. Us being in a beyond desperate position of having easily the worst guards in the entire NBA (and that's including KPJ) means we have no option but to take a chance on KPJ maybe figuring things out, but let's not get it twisted, there's a reason KPJ is not a coveted player around the NBA even beyond his off the court issues. He's never once in his entire life showed that he can play smart, team focused basketball with the goal of winning games.

Please define what a chucker is in your definition cause then i guess trent/ green are also chuckers.Porter had very good effeciancy n dont believe hes a chucker

Praying Middleton gets bought out and comes back on a minimum, if he’s 70% of himself he could still help big time with keeping things organized and making the right play.

Here's my guess with Middleton: The Wizards keep him around as a veteran presence for the first few months of the season and then after the trade deadline when they're 5000 games under .500 they buy him out.

there was a theory that the official signing opening was delaying all the rest of the moves... it's not a theory that i believed in but if it's true we will find out soon

That is the case. But that doesn't mean there will be more moves made immediately. We're only 6 days into the league year. I think the Rollins deal gets done soon but trades, if any more are made, don't necessarily happen right away.

Im ok for an all out season. Get Kuzma off the books with picks. About 5 years ago this would have been fire!

Sign Midds, Beal, Rollins and CP3

PG: CP3...........KPJ.......Rollins
SG: Beal...........Trent.....Green....Harris
SF: Midds........Prince
PF: Giannis......Portis....Smith
C: Turner..........Sims......Markovic

Brain development continues through early 20s generally peaking around 25ish more so for males. I think KPJ's bbiq is actually pretty good, so long as his off court IQ is good enough he should be a good player.

Would KPJ start at the 2 alongside CP3 or come off the bench?

This is assuming Horst would have to offer Paul a starting spot if the Bucks’ interest is more than agent talk and punditry:

Recently, ESPN insider Bobby Marks joined Hannah Storm of SportsCenter to talk about Paul’s status and who he’s hearing is getting ready to offer the 12-time All-Star a contract heading into his 21st season in the NBA. Both the franchises Mark mentioned could do well with a veteran guard like Paul.

“I would keep an eye on two teams here, Hannah. The Milwaukee Bucks, certainly with the loss of Damian Lillard. And, his former team, the Phoenix Suns,” Marks said.

KPJ spent the first handful of years playing with **** teammates and for **** orgs, while having off the court issues. It’s hard to truly judge what he is/could be, but I’m glad he showed out and I’m glad we’re giving him a shot.

so could you explain one scenario that would require an official deal being announced before they could progress on a trade? i feel like the only thing that this would delay is being able to trade a player that was just signed (since it's not yet official). But none of those players can be traded for months now anyway. So i dont understand.

Probably a dumb question, but what does a player being bought out actually mean?

KM is being paid a little over 33 million this year. Why would he take less than 33 million? To play for a good team?

Do players actually take less than they have to in order to get out from their current team?

Yup. Play for a contender. Audition for his next contract.

We just need somebody to want Kuzma in the same way the Spurs wanted RJ years ago: enough to give us some spare parts we can use.

GSW lacks size pretty badly. A 6’10” athletic forward that can run the floor could be useful in their system with their geriatric core they’re trying to win with. I’m not saying they want Kuzma in particular because it makes sense no one sees him as a positive asset but in theory it makes sense.

If Beal wants to earn another contract and rebrand himself, the bucks present the best opportunity to start, buy-in and compete for a championship. Picking MKE over glamour markets would show he’s about winning

Feel like Rollins signs somewhere else and it's gonna piss me off greatly.
