Paul is going to prioritize his retirement tour and being close to his family in LA.

Either the Clippers or Suns would accomplish that for him much better than the Bucks.

It’d be a shocking about face from Bradley Beal’s career to date if he’d choose Milwaukee over a glamour market (Miami’s my guess) too.

Thats a lot for a guy who is a horrid defender and not an elite offensive player. Makes total sense that there isn't a deal yet

We've been talking about so many good options, that it began to feel like we'll get none of them. We'll either get someone almost noone expected or we'll stay with Kuzma (bleh).

Brogdon is probably the most realistic option. He's gotta be sick of losing.

All the RFA’s are being held up because no one has any money other than the MLE for a few select teams

I dont know how much of it was just tanking teams trying to shut him down to preserve losses but he hasnt played many games per season for a bit now

Wow only 38 starts in the last 3 years but looks like he was a bench guy for Boston. He will be 33 this season, wild to think about

Yeah, I could maybe see Philly balking with grimes because their cap situation is pretty awful

That and they already have two offense first guards who arent defenders.

Grimes earned his playing time for Thibs through his defense. He's a really good defender. It's part of his allure.

If we could turn the Turner deal into a sign and trade, we'd have money for Grimes, and still be under the tax.

Phillies hold up is that they have no need to hurry. Grimes is a RFA. They're also loaded at guard since they added Edgecombe

Bball index has him as a Dame level defender (very bad) last season and a significant negative on D 3 of his 4 nba seasons

As of July 3, Brett Siegel heard:

Milwaukee Bucks: The Bucks continue to explore the trade market to get a sense of what type of return they could get for Kyle Kuzma. As of right now, it looks more likely that he will be on Milwaukee's roster to begin the 2025-26 season, sources said. Even so, the team continues to look for versatile 3-and-D wings who can play off Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner. After waiving Damian Lillard, the Bucks' next order of business is adding an experienced option next to Kevin Porter Jr. at the point guard position.

They couldn't be more wrong. Check any other source. Defense is his thing

Brook had to be shocked to find out that teams could do this.

I think hes probably still living off of the reputation of that one good season. DLebron ratings seem pretty reliable when you look at how they rate other players (in reference to Grimes).
