Not related to summer league: I will say that I can firmly say that I don't really believe in Ware-- a talented young player, but red flags on him that are screaming into a megaphone at this point. I felt this way after the Detroit game late last year, which cemented it for me. You never want to give up on a young player too soon, but there's an IT factor and feel for the game that you can't grow out of the ground that I feel that he lacks

Kasparas Jakucionis, #25, in his pro debut, looked understandably rattled. He shot 1-for-7, committed three turnovers, and couldn’t get into the lane with any confidence. He’s young (just 19) and this was his first pro-level action, but the step up and speed of the game clearly overwhelmed him.

I completely disregard summer league because it's not real basketball. Summer league isn't even preseason level basketball, and preseason ball isn't real NBA ball either. However, "kid in his first summer league game" is a weak excuse. Lots of guys in summer league are young kids playing their first games at that level, and most of the rest are second year players. He just needs to adjust to overall better athletes than he was playing against before.

That and he needs to clean up his turnovers which seem to be a problem for him.

I'm not expecting anything from him this season. Hopefully he get tons of run in summer league and preseason, and then a ton more in the G-league.

Although Mia has the advantage of getting to mold Ware earlier in his career than they did Hassan.

And having gone through the experience of having Hassan hopefully gives Mia a leg up in creating a better outcome with Ware.

I'm not sure what he's gonna be, but I'm a little more doubtful of his superstar potential considering some of his deficits. If he can be a solid role player, I think he could be really good

Ware will be fine. I don't think he has a superstar ceiling, but he's a starting calibre big. Whiteside with a J isn't a bad comparison, although he moves his feet a lot better than Hassan.

I dont view him as the next blue chip.

But as a vital support piece? Absolutely.

He will grow and learn how to use his skillset.

Interesting, i didnt really have much expectations. If he can be Gobert, thats a damn good player. I think hes more offensive than Gobert, but still.
