i find that these type of deals are agent driven and it's not a discussion between many teams.

Good call. Memphis did him a big solid letting go of that contract for such a quality player. He and his agent probably saw that gaping hole on a great team, and could see him in a near duplicate role of what Turner played.

The Bucks affordable FA re-signings of Trent, KPJ, & Rollins help offset the cost sunk into Dame, at least this yr. Rollins got multiple yrs at 4 per. These are underrated players, along w/ another cheap one in AJ Green. 4 legit rotation guys making a combined 14 million dollars.

It just leaves a lot to be desired at the guard spots. But yes, they're making the best of their situation.

Agree. Rollins is a solid player and I think he's gonna breakout a bit next season

They can take all the bad contracts and picks they want at the deadline. Or they can even just pay the balance under the floor and still be better off for next season if nobody deals.

Do you think Beal signs with you guys? On one hand he theoretically fits as someone who stretches the floor for Giannis and can do some limited play making. On the other he’s Bradley Beal

He should, because he's a more proven #2 option than, say, Kevin Porter Jr. (as much as I like him). And he's not going to get this opportunity on a winning team anywhere else. Plus, I think it'd be his first chance to play a 2-man game w/ a post force who passes.

But, all indications are he'll go to the Clippers, where he'll be 3rd option, to 2 perimeter players. So it's similar to Phoenix offensively. Defensively, they have better infrastructure than Phoenix or most teams. That's a case for the Bucks also. I don't think it's mainly a bb choice. We'll see.

Where does Brogdon end up? Ben Simmons?

Even though the Mavs have Cooper Flagg I still believe that PJ Washington is vital to the Mavs success. Glad to see he’s being brought back (for now).

our guards are going to surprise a lot of people this year. Rollins and KPJ can both defend, it's not going to be a fast lane to the basket like it was with Dame. Rollins played through a separated shoulder last season and has some potential offensive upside, especially driving to the hoop. KPJ, we're just hoping his production with the Bucks last year can scale up with more minutes because he was pretty incredible. Even when Dame was at his best here, I enjoyed the KPJ experience at least twice as much. I know most people dont care but if you want to know why some of us are excited, this is why:

I'm a Cavs fan, I'm well aware of KPJ's on-court potetinal. It's what is between his ears that has derailed his career. He's never been short on talent.

Cole Anthony bought out by Memphis and looks like he's going to sign with Milwaukee. His career kind of feels like it's holding on by a thread now. He had every opportunity to make it work in Orlando, but just couldn't seem to find the consistency. One of my issues with him seems to be his talkative nature. Too much gregarious for a guy who isn't very productive. Grant Williams is the same. You can be a guy who talks a lot when you consistently produce, but when you are up and down or more down than up, you just become annoying.

Happy for Cole but I share your sentiments. The dude just hasn't shown any semblance of consistency... going back to his 1 year at UNC too. I hope he can put it all together eventually but the magic gave him every opportunity to shut his critics up.

The Rockets need another guard.

Melton, Brogdon, Payton II, etc… still available.

And not that they would bc he's cheap but Davis is non-guaranteed.

You all have been linked to Horford and Melton. Beal a smidge. Worst case Kuminga signs the QO. I also have no clue what GP2 is doing.

So the roster could get filled out in a hurry, if they signed any of the rumored guys.
