I agree. I always referenced the Kings when (speaking for myself here) I defended Sam Hinkie process that he was not allowed to see through. I have no clue what that franchise attempts to do year in and year out. They pay a lot of rent in the lottery.

Their incompetence can be boiled down to the fact that they drafted DeAaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, and their just signed point guard is now Dennis Schroder. They were a 3-seed and looked like a franchise on the rise, and are now an utter train wreck only a couple of years later. It would be hard to ruin a franchise that quickly if you tried.

Sucks for Sabonis to play for that franchise.

I'm sure Sabonis will be traded for a first and an expiring by February anyway.

Quentin Grimes and Jalen Hood Schifino another area the 76ers can improve is the second team. Quentin Grimes is very reliable and steady player and on occasions be a starter. The 76ers should resign him. Jalen Hood Schifino is a player with potential. However, due to injuries and time to develop into a good NBA player his progress has been hinder. The 76ers should enter him into program to monitor his injuries and recovery. G league and summer league should be a time of evaluations on his skillset. His offensive game needs to be reworked for deficiencies in his shot selections and making shots consistently. He has the tools size, good passing skills, and defense. Player development does work an example is Tyrese Maxey.

A lot of smoke that Dame Lillard could be heading to the Celtics. How we feel about this?

Perfect spot for him. All he needs to do is spam C&S 3's, which he can probably do on one leg in his sleep.

The Celtics future title hopes rest on what Tatum looks like when he returns.

Phoenix is a team that will be surprisingly good imo. The additional depth they got + a legit front court will help a ton. I might put a bet in for the over on their win total depending on what it is.

Dame will be atrocious after the injury. Saltics are going nowhere led by the Achilles brothers.

The Celtics look like they’ll take a gap year next season and gear up to contend again in 2026–2027. With the new CBA and the growing importance of depth to win a title, this is becoming a league wide trend.

I'm not so worried about post Achilles Dame at his size/age... But the Celtics getting out of cap hell with such ease and going into a gap (tank) year when the draft is expected to be so strong at the top is kinda scary.

Yes they are blatantly tanking for a top 5 pick. Brown won’t play much next year either.

So hopefully they get screwed in the lottery.

Even if they end up screwed in the lottery, Brad Stevens will figure a way to unscrew them.

Why do I have a problem imagining the Celtics or Lakers ever being screwed by this league?

Whoever is wearing a Celtics hat next June will be holding the LOB in 6-8 years. Just the way it goes for Sixers fans.

I think Denver, LAC, ATL, and Houston have won the off-season. Man, the west is super competitive.

With the Clippers, it's going to come down to health. They've surrounded Harden and Kawhi with smart 3 and D players. If they stay healthy, they're going to compete. It's an older team, which makes injury risk a bit higher.
