Im not an RJ fan, but I still say the deal that makes sense for both teams is

Klay, Naji, and Hardy for RJ Barrett

Dalals gets a SG who can create for others and handle the ball so its not all on Coop, since D-Low is not good. Plus they need to clear out a roster spot. Tor turns RJ into smaller, more movable deals since they have some big contracts already.

Dwight Powell to Indiana for a late 2nd?

Are you sure the Mavs is not trading a 2nd instead of receiving a 2nd? Let's not act like Powell could play Myles Turner's role.

Well you have to get something back in return when you trade a guy. The Mavs don’t need players they need a roster spot. So maybe Powell and a late 2nd for a late 2nd from Indiana. It reunites Carlisle with Powell who he loves.

Labron or Bradley Beal for the vet min if you have a choice?

Beal comes in with more shooting. LBJ comes in with more playmaking. But if the cost is the same I'd probably go with the lesser risk and take Beal. Beal is easier to cut if he's of no use. Lebron you're getting Klutch guys, Rich Paul, Bronny and that whole travelling circus of his. And since it's his farewell tour, he'd expect a final standing ovation in every arena the Mavs play in for next year. And I don't want to be part of that.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking.

Yeah. With every away game, Lebron and his guys would expect a standing ovation in every arena for his final game against that team, or a special timeout to be called so he can get a standing ovation when he gets subbed out. That would be corny as hell.

After the Normon Powell trade, LAC is said to add Beal and CP3 on roster That team could be better than OKC if.things materialize...Horford is said to join GSW after the Kuminga trade.

Jokic refuses an extension from Denver. It sounds like a trade.to.team up with Luka will be done. LBJ can choose the right third team involved.

Safe to say that when Kidd called, Popeye Jones was all ears...

Few days ago, it may still be possible. Now IND has got few C at minimium salary. No more room for Powell.

MIA wants to keep the cap space, and has no interest in Martin’s contract.

Jokic declined the extension because he’s due for an even bigger pay day if he waits 1 more year. He’s not going anywhere.

Aaron Wiggins isn't even all that great against Indiana Pacers in Finals. But Andrew Wiggins is exceptional great against Luka. I know Wiggins is 30. But still, I don't think Aaron Wiggins can get anywhere close to Andrew Wiggins' level on both end of the floor at 30 YO.

And the salary shows that. Aaron is still a solid all around player, better than 2025 Klay, Christie, Martin, and leaps and bounds better than Hardy.

I have a feeling that Wiggins may be the ultimate replacement for JW in a few years, when OKC can’t withstand 3 max contract on the roster. Don’t think OKC will be trading him away so easily.

Stein reporting Phil Handy just agreed to join the Mavs.

Kidd
Vogel
Triano
Penberthy
Handy
Jones

I doubt they'd add more to that list, but that staff is loaded.

LBJ is coming next season. Damn it.

I like it. Was bummed to see Shamgod and maybe Dudley go but this new coaching staff knows their stuff and can make up for Kidd's shortcomings. Handy coming on board could be a gamechanger for Flagg in particular. The guy is very well respected and gets a lot of credit for the development of some of the top guys the last 2 or 3 decades.

Not familiar with Handy, who has he helped develop? Reaves?

Ochai Agbaji on the Raptors is a player that I like. Future all-star potential.

I'm waiting for the guys who said me that's Powell resign wasn't a problem, now you can understand.

He is a wasted spot from 5/6 years. Stupid Cuban decision to continue to resign him just for refuse to admit that Rondo trade was a mistakes. Moron.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
