Now the Heat have a major hole in the frontcourt depth.

Collins was more of a need for the Clippers and Powell was more of a need for us. In the end works out for everyone. Happy for Kevin Love too and our newly opened roster spot

Beal to Clippers makes a whole lot of sense now

For real!! Came out of nowhere… dropped a bomb, caught MWP saying they would never, and then minutes later, news broke…. They did and we turned our old crap into a serviceable player.

The coach showing us what saucy nuggets look like!

I’ve been begging for them to get a vet scoring two guard behind Herro and Powell is a dog on defense too.

I won't be surprised if Herro/Powell is our starting backcourt Day 1.

Def some nice shooting and scoring. League-worst facilitating from a starting back court tho. Powell has never had a full season averaging more than 2.1 apg. Never gotten close to even a 2:1 a:to ratio.

Nonetheless, it's definitely a nice upgrade from what Kevin Love and Kyle Anderson were offering. Where does it leave us tho?

I said they would ‘t trade him for Wiggins and they end up getting him for Love and Slo Mo. That’s just a thing of beauty. Need to do this more often lol

So, Norman Powell, huh? Good! Put he and Herro together, Wiggins, Bam, and Ware in the frontcourt, and a bench of Mitchell, Smith, Larrson, Jovic, KJ, JJJ, and Highsmith. We need a bit more size off the bench but I like it.

I didn't like neither player. But they were needed depth. Just pointing it out to help predict the next move

Norm Powell huh? He can score.

Now If we can find a way to ship expiring Terry/fontecchio out for something of value this offseason will start to make sense

Great trade but still more work to be done. Open roster spot but curious about the cap space now. Looks like we used up our space in this deal

I can see Herro's scoring average dipping slightly with Powell in the lineup, allowing him to focus more on facilitating. Adding another reliable scorer takes some pressure off both Bam and Herro is massive.
