Powell is a great addition to the Heat's backcourt. I'm surprised that's all it took to get him.

Could clear the way for Beal to land with the Clippers....Collins a nice add for LA.

Could mean Wiggins is gone too. Hachimura and Knecht for him? Love will get bought out, too.

Both guys are expiring - Clippers are actually taking an extra $6M or so in salary this year.

Norman Powell is obviously looking for an extension so maybe that played a big role in moving him now.

Also, surprised the Clippers are the ones send out a 2nd.

This could be LA having cold feet on extending Powell too, a big new contract doesn't fit the Kawhi timeline. Makes me wonder who initiated this trade.

I hope Powell gets a payday since he has been one of those low key, I want that guy on my team since he is under the radar for most casual fans. I want to see how he meshes with the Miami’s Ray Allen.

Duncan Robinson replacement turns out to be a substantial upgrade but he is older and looking to get paid.

Collins is an interesting get for Clippers, it seems like both LA teams wanted him. He should feed on his fair share of lobs from James

Yeah he's already 32, maybe the Clippers were unsure about paying him long term as he begins to decline in his mid 30s?

I mean, for the Clippers, in this sense, they are just getting a PF that fills the same role as Powell did at SF, only this allows for more size u. The lineup, keep,Kawhi as more of a SF and keep his body from banging down low, and adding more size to the starting lineup, which with some of the teams in the West running the double big lineup now they kinda need otherwise they would and been beaten down low by teams if Kawhi cant hold up at PF
