If anything to Heat don’t have to rush anything with Herro’s extension with Powell here. If anything they should look to extend Powell lol

Herro is seeking a max extension of 3 years 150 million, and we just got someone that is a better defender than him and can score with him, for kevin love and anderson.

And he can probably be had longer term on an extension of 4 years 80 million.

The Heat have positioned themselves at the negotiating table. Theyre letting Herro know how the extension talks are going to go.

If they’re serious about winning now it’s time to move Tyler. Nothing against Tyler but he’s just been replaced by someone who actually plays defense if we choose to go that route and including him with our other assets is our best chance and snagging a star.

Plays defense and is more efficient offensively.. powell is a better player than Herro.

Powell is an expiring contract. A win in so many ways for the Heat

That's what the bulls, sacramento kings do. And it gets them nowhere.

The focus this season should be on development and asset collection. Moving Wiggins for a 1st rounder. They should have used Duncan non guaranteed to get picks. If you trade for a player, go for a young player who isn't in a good situation and see if you can rehabilitate him.

This is just a mid move. It doesn't help with development. It doesn't get more assets for a future trade. It's just about scrapping to the 1st round

Who were we developing behind Tyler Herro? Pelle Larrson profiles as a solid role player with no where near the scoring chops of a Powell. Why do you want to leave Bam and Herro hanging out to dry? They deserve some help.

I have no expectation for this season. If they make the playoffs fine, if they don't it fine as well. I am not looking it as some failure for Bam and Herro. It's more to give them as much responsibility so I can decide whether to move foward with them. If they fail, we get a great draft pick in a great draft.

The worst thing that can happen is this is the Norman Powell show for next season. He's the no 1 option or the no 2 option ahead of Bam. We make playoffs and get bounced in round 1. This is probably what happens. And to me that's a waste of a season.

Bam and Herro had that responsibility last year and clearly needed help.

Notm Powell, but this just confirms what's been happening all offseason: one way bucket getters have been getting dumped and the heat have been linked to most of them. Did this take them out ofvthe kuminga and derozan game? Or do they double down.

There has to be another move.

Herro/Powell backcourt is rough unless the plan isvfor those 2 to take turns isoing. no defense nor facilitating coming from the backcourt.

Terry
Wiggins
Herro
Ware
Jovic
JJJ
KJ
Draft assets

What can a mixture of that get you is what we should be looking at now. Can Herro Wiggins ware and picks get you in the giannis sweepstakes?!

I like Powell. Fits with the cap space plan going forward.

Didn’t give up much either.
