They're basically the same player. Herro isn't as physically strong nor athletic though, so he can be relentlessly hunted come playoff time.

Herro is definitely better and more well rounded. But offensively besides playmaking they are pretty similar. Herro is a more big game player, much better playmaker.
Tyler Herro is not better than Norman Powell

Miami- Really good player for nothing
Jazz- Tank
Clippers- Size
Powell was awesome the first half of the season. We cannot downplay it. But the second half of the season when they ended 18-3 he was ****. The problem with guards like Powell is when they aren’t on offensively they do nothing to help and a lot to hurt you.
Same in the playoffs. What will happen is with or without CP3 or Beal, those minutes will be absorbed by Dunn, DJ, Bogdan and young players like Christie/Flowers etc. Those players won’t give you 22 ppg but they also defend, rebound, pass, don’t turn the ball over like Powell.
So similar to PG the late season version of Powell actually ends up being addition by subtraction. The early season Powell it’s a moderate loss.

This only works if Kawhi is 100% healthy for the entire regular season. You need guys like Powell to pick up the slack in those situations.
Clippers must be getting Beal and if that happens, this would be a home run move for them. If not, theyre taking a massive risk considering Kawhi remaining healthy for a full season has almost a 0% chance of happening lol.

Maybe it’s speculation, but I don’t think they do this move without reassurances from Beal or CP3. Lots of writers now saying Beal to LAC is looking likely

Totally agree... I think the Clippers wanted this deal to happen ASAP to secure Beal. No way he goes there if Norm was still on the roster. Clippers would have gotten a lot better this offseason if they are able to land him.

Ainge broke up a 60 win team in the west to do what exactly? He should have went all in to upgrade their previous Mitchell/Gobert roster than do whatever the hell is happening in Utah right now. They are 2 tanks away from being 2 tanks away in terms of relevancy lol

Agreed. I especially want them to grab CP3 for a “last dance” retirement year. It would be a feel good story. He’s already made peace with Ballmer. With the league being as open as it is right now before OKC/Spurs truly lock it down I feel like we have 1-2 years left maybe of a surprise champ scenario with good luck.

Money wise:
MIA adds $7.1M salary for the year but gets an expiring and saves money from SLO MO’s 2nd year. Clears $9.6M for 26-27
LAC adds $6M salary, expiring for expiring
UTA drops $13M in salary for the year but adds $9.6M salary to 26-27

lol. He really is. Scoring profile last year was similar but does Herro constantly drive 3 vs 1 and dribble the ball off his own leg for turnovers or constantly not even see guys camped on the 3 point line? If so.. then you’ll have twins
