The problem is he’s still tanking and continues to waste assets. He also stinks at drafting. I legitimately feel bad for Utah fans. Lol.

They tanked this past year, fell in the lottery, and ended up drafting a disgruntled guy with a low floor, doesn't seem ideal to me.

could be decent for the clippers if they get beal. they have needed a pf like collins and he should be an okay fit next to zubes

norm is still good but dunno about his fit with the heat and herro already doing the same thing

dunno if those vets stick with the jazz. at worst they're some mentors for a young tanking team

Teams value him, but they him value him as a 6th man insta offense type guy, not as a core player. If he was a better defender, he'd probably generate a lot more interest.

This time around, probably not many teams interested in paying his next contract through his mid 30s.

And scorers aren't as valuable as before because team offenses generate good shots for the most part. Everyone says anyone can score 20ppg with enough shots. Gotta be multi-dimensional

There is different kinds of Jazz. With Kevin Love, Nurkic and Slo-Mo they even have elevator jazz covered. They are appealing to a broader demographic of listeners.

SG’s who don’t play defence don’t have a market in this new CBA world.

Collins is much worse defensively and Norm isn't that bad to begin with. Collins is 4+ years younger, however, and LAC is hurting for size.

So the Clippers basically trade Norm and a 2nd for Beal and Collins. Without the Beal situation, I wasn’t seeing the purpose of this deal for the Clips, but with him, it makes sense.

The Heat deal Anderson and Love for Powell. That seems like a steal.

And the Jazz acquire Anderson, Love, and a 2nd for Collins. I’m not a fan of Collins, but yuck. Of course, it might be more accurate to state that the Jazz acquired Anderson, the opportunity to buyout Love, a second and lottery balls for Collins. Still, yuck.
