Amir Coffey is the only free agent I’d be interested in signing.

As much as I like that we have all our young-ish guards for next year (KPJ, AJ, GTJ, Rollins) and Turner is a serious front court upgrade, going into next season with Doc still having Kuzma/Prince available to him is frustrating. You just know the moron is gonna start one of them, possibly even both again. It seems absurd that we'd need to "Doc proof" our roster but it is what it is. At the very least, even if they can't find a trade partner for Kuzma, Prince never should've been re-signed let alone for 2 years.

Even more than positions, we need a more reliable #2 option, or at least another one if KPJ doesn't pan out. I realize it's a lot of sg's, and ideally we'd secure a sf, but got to work with what you have.

The SF is the swing with the picks at the deadline or after the season we need to make for the Turner direction to be complete. Until then we can use a stop gap SF, like Beal is the stopgap creator. Green can play some SF, as he's shown.

There is some talk about how why there is no announcement of Turner signing, from the Bucks. And speculation that he may back out and stay with the Pacers. That is a disturbing thought. Any ideas on this possibility?

Speculation from who, other than some nervous nellies here?

Since we'd otherwise use the room exception to sign KPJ and GTJ (Rollins was early bird if I understand correctly), would we only have a portion of the MLE available if Indiana would do a sign and trade?

Beal or no Beal it seems like we'd have plenty of use for that slot if not too much trouble.

Seems dramatically more likely that something along these lines is the delay in a Turner announcement than DeAndre Jordan level chicanery (which we have no reason to assume is happening).

This may allay some fear. They're working in order of operations very gradually, & this was a key piece. Maybe this also means they've agreed on the buyout #, which was the big hold-up in the Turner signing. If they didn't, why pull the trigger on this move.

I saw some speculation that there may still be the chance of a sign and trade. But my guess is there's a sequencing that has to take place for these moves to be officially announced.

ETA: The cold feet scenario would be objectively hilarious if it happened.

I have had the thought that we could get Bogdanovic'd here, and man, would that be a ****.

Wonder if we get anything back from Dame on waive and stretch. Not saying we have a ton of leverage but he is getting all the benefits of this.

A S&T is certainly a possibility. But a straight backout and resign with Indy isn't happening.

That was probably the second thought I had once the deal was announced. First thought being the ever insightful “what?”.

The ole therapist filed this one under being a Bucks fan.

Unless Chris Paul and Blake Griffin come walking through the door, I’m not too worried about Myles getting bullied into coming back to Indy, though. That team has been looking to trade him forever.

I feel the Beal hesitation
I myself would not feel much elation
But if a scorer wants in
And will take the vet min
Title hunters may come to Bucks nation

Bucks will also do a splashy press and social media rollout with Turner.

Official announcement could also be synced to teeing that up.

That and Turner getting to Milwaukee after the holiday to sign the contract which it appears he’s now done!

All the Rollins anxiety shifted to Turner anxiety and now its going to be focused on our last couple roster spots

Whats funny is that folks used to cry about Thanasis taking up a development spot and i think now most want him back.

KPJ and Rollins need the PT. I think Kyle Lowry would fit better and be more accepting of a vet min/mentor, 3rd string PG role then CP3. Sign Beal and call it an offseason.

KPJ/Rollins/Lowry
Beal/Green/Harris
Trent/Prince/AJax
Giannis/Kuz/Smith
Turner/Bobby/Sims
