Jazz are collecting as many draft picks as possible lol. Just opened a TPE where they can take on another salary dump for draft capital.

I’m sure they are awaiting a solid package for Lauri since he doesn’t fit the new timeline either.

What about PG and Grimes (Via S&T) for Markkenen and Sensabaugh.

Utah "buys low" on PG. Grimes replaces LM's usage and provides a better fit with the rest of the team. Their future lineup becomes Walter Clayton, Grimes, Ace, Hendricks, and Kessler/Filipowski.

Philly gets Markkenen and Sensabaugh who are more in line with Maxey's window. Assuming Grimes would've signed $8MM QO, we lower our salary cap by ~$14MM.

Maxey / McCain
VJ / Sensabaugh / Gordon
Oubre / Edwards
Markkenen / Watford / Broome
Embiid / Bona

I like this roster fit way more than with Grimes and PG.

Works for me, but what about when Little Ainge wants a 1st (or two)?

I'd tell him good luck

I get the feeling Utah wants to tank and free up some usage. Giddey might make sense, but I feel like they'd rather use the space to take on bad contracts for picks.

... I'd take Kyle Anderson. I think I'd still be interested in him on our team even when he's 45 years old.

Would’ve been nice to land Cam Whitmore for 2 seconds like Washington just did.

We're about ten years too late of having Kyle Lowry as an integral part of this basketball team. I'm sorry, but Ricky Council deserves that spot over him. This is BS if we cut him to keep Lowry.

I like Sensabaugh. He looked like the best player on the court in that first summer league game until VJ tried to win the game down the stretch.

I don’t understand the infatuation with Lauri tho. He can shoot and rebound but his perimeter defense is poor. He makes to much not to be pulled off the court ala Gobert. He also can’t create his own shot. And his contract is a year longer than Paul George. I prefer not to pay 46+ mil
To a stretch 5 pretending to be a wing who is hurt just as much as embiid and PG.

Gotta keep our two player coaches lol. We knew he was coming back when VJ had to take number 77 tho.

Lowry and Gordon should never see the court unless in blowouts. They should be similar to Udonis Haslem lol. I’m certainly ready to swap Council for a new player to develop. I’ve ran out of patience with him.

Council will go when we resign Grimes to be the 14th man now that we're wasting a spot on Lowry.

If Grimes comes back, they'll be at 15 roster spots so not possible. But I think we can use some of this salary to make a trade for a PF, you know, like PJ Tucker.

I guess signing Lowry keeps the media circus off the Sixers by stopping the release of the compromising Nick Nurse tapes and photos.

Ffs. It's got to be blackmail.

*Maxey did hint that "Lowry is still around" during that recent interview he did.

Guys, don't worry, like the tweet said - he's a 2019 champion!
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards/Council
George/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Lowry is Nurse's guy. It's not complicated.

Nothing is with this team if you look at it. Someone pointed out here that Morey always just makes the most obvious move, and if you go back over his time here, damned if that isn't true.

If Lowry plays any meaningful minutes, I would consider that an immediate fireable offense for Nurse.
