Pacers made some nice moves
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Shouldn’t “lowballed and lost Myles Turner” be listed under the Pacers moves?

I think the problem is that the "minimum" in Milwaukee is somewhere about 40 below zero wind chill.skbucks1985 wrote:raferfenix wrote:Heat are now hard capped at the first apron and can't use their MLE.
Clippers spent most of their MLE on Brook but am seeing a lot of pundits assuming Beal heads their way nonetheless.
Of the 6 teams that have been mentioned as Beal suitors: Bucks, Lakers, Heat, Clippers, Nuggets and Warriors I don't think any of them can offer more than the minimum

Re: ATL - Powell to the Heat
With Powell out of the picture, Clippers can offer Beal a pretty compelling role/locale opportunity. Tough for us to compete with that, although he could make more money for himself moving forward as our 2nd option playing off of Giannis's gravity.

I wonder if what Kevin Pritchard was saying today is true, that they were prepared to go well into the tax but before they could Myles shocked them by signing with the Bucks.

If the Clippers don't end up with CP3, I'd be very surprised if they don't end up with Beal. But if they do get him, I think its certainly possible they get both, but I think its possible they feel like they have to choose between them or they may become less appealing to Beal.

They could have done so before the Bucks were legally allowed to talk to him. They did not.
So at the very least, they were not prepared to do so unless another team forced them to, or quite possibly they never would have and what they are saying now is cover in hopes the fans blame Turner for leaving and not their owner for cheaping out.
Either way, it’s delightful for us.

I think they get both. Beal takes the rest of their MLE and the weather. Paul takes the vet min and staying with his family.
On the plus side, watching them try to play D with Paul, Beal, Harden, Batum, and Brook lineups will be absolute hilarity.

I can already tell that Atlanta is the one "offseason winner" team that everyone's overrating if we're just penciling them in as a Top-4 seed. I think Snyder's still a good coach, but they're banking an awful lot on a healthy Jalen Johnson and KP for a team that had the net-rating of a 38-win squad last season.

This would be a big hit in Utah.

Atlanta was trending in a really good direction prior to the Johnson injury and have gotten better. It's hard to trust the health, but I think I actually like them better than Orlando.

If you pay $2500 to go to that game you have too much money.
