He's just a offensive focused player. With being the Blazers goto player for the last couple of seasons, he clearly saved all his energy for the offensive side of the floor. Will be interesting to see him in a different system and maybe being a 6th man (something I think he should have been for years now), or at the very least always the 3rd option.
He's a good kid, you'll like him, but when his shot isn't going, he's invisible on the court. Does next to nothing else. But when he is shooting it, my goodness he's lights out. In 6 years he became the 3rd highest 3pt shooting player in Blazers history... and he barely played his first 3 years. So his offense at times is pretty elite, but without other skills, he can be a liability. Think of someone like Jason Terry-ish.

It was dumb the Blazers offered 2nd round picks to begin with. I think 2nd rounders are pretty much worthless these days anyway, the NIL has killed the quality of the 2nd round from like pick 35-60. It wasn't great anyway, but guys who are even somewhat talented are opting to go back to school if their agent is telling them they're a second round pick cause these players can make more money in college than being 2nd round picks... so the quality there is dead and I didn't care that much Portland gave them away,
but let's be real, the Blazers were doing the Celtics a massive favor taking on that Jrue contract for an expiring that was also substantially cheaper but happened to work still under the CBA as a swap. The Celtics should have been sending 2nd rounders to Portland.
