given ujiri close relationship with larry, i can see ujiri continue to be involved or support tempo on some level until he find his next footing

Wow, I never heard that about Ed. But of course it wouldn't surprise me at all. The sight of those two big black-clad buses cruising through FLORIDA always made me proud to be Raptors' fan. Cool AF.

Goodbye, Masai.

Made me a believer.

Bobby is Masai's disciple, so I'm hopeful that he can lead us to the promised land.

If Masai says we will win again, we will surely win again.

Greatest Toronto sports exec ever - and probably one of the best for the game of baskebtall.

Goodbye Masai Ujiri. I will always love you. I am sorry for posting that fake AI-generated article about you divorcing your wife and then using ChatGPT to write about the tragedy of divorce in the style of Clay Davis. It was a low rizz move. Some would even call it a no rizz move. I personally see it as a necessary move, illustrating the need for AI alignment in a world that will increasingly embrace new, potentially dangerous but also potentially liberating technologies.

Masai will be fine. He'll probably spend a year hanging around collecting Ed's money and doing media for the Tempo launch. Then he'll take over for Brooklyn after Sean Marks is (finally) fired, and he'll start his presser off with "**** Toronto!"

Isn't he the longest tenured Raptor, so to speak?
We're gonna miss the guy.

There is no one like Masai, he is one of one of what he brought to the table and how he is as a person. I'm gonna miss him so much

Pretty telling that when you go through ed rogers following on his twitter account its the leafs blue jays and a bunch of right wing personalities. Doesnt even follow the raptors. The ed fan boys need to spare us with the “ look at masais last 5 years, ed is doing whats best” BS

I can understand how some fans may disagree with some of Masai's moves, but I will NEVER understand how anyone can think Ed Rogers/Kelly knows more about basketball than Masai.

He is just a good human. He absolutely should have been allowed to build this team back up as it's already started.

Whatever he does next, they will be lucky to have him

Man oh man. That video had me tearing up at the end. I wrote it in the Masai thread but the amount of joy this man ended up bringing me and my friends/family during his tenure is incalculable.

Wish him the best.

So many raptors that I thought would be staples for the franchise Tim Duncan, Greg popovich style that just fell out within a year out of nowhere. Business is business I guess.
