This probable/pending deal has me intrigued. It will probably be a nothing burger.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

MIL - Ellis and Barrett
SAC - Kuzma
TOR - Monk

To sweeten the deal for the Kings, they get to send out the Saric contract. The Raptors take it on, and still save money in the deal.

Since we're taking on the rather large Barret deal, we also get the 2 way contract of Ulriche Comche.

Bucks - Ellis, Barrett, Comche(2 way)
Kings - Kuzma, Ajax
Raptors- Monk, Saric

I don't like Barrett, but there's enough here to pull the trigger

Yeah. No read on what's possibly happening but this was my immediate reaction.

If his salary is needed for matching in trade, the part necessary for matching now becomes guaranteed.

I mean Keon Ellis is intriguing but we gotta get Devin Carter out of the deal. We need a dribble penetration stopper.

As much as the Middleton trade was a bust, it freed up $12 million extra of cap room needed to sign Myles Turner.

It was critical to dump that $12mm to get under the apron. Probably saved $50 million in lux and 2nd apron tax.

And made Myles Turner a reality

The flexibility was always the asset in the Khris deal

It feels weird seeing Sims name there as being signed on a vet min contract. I imagine vet mins go to guys that are 32+ and on the downward trajectory of their careers. Not for some 27 year old.

I also note Bobby Marks saying that the 'brown holds' will turn into eventual salary. I just had Taco Bell, so i can definitely tell you what my 'brown hold' is going to turn into, and it ain't pretty.

The genius or Horst needing to trade for a Euro guy so we can buy him out and stretch even more money. Master at work.

I haven't seen this much stretching in Milwaukee since Richard Simmons last appearance here back in '98.

Imagine if Khris gets bought out before the trade deadline and signs with us for the vet min before the playoffs.

Devin Carter so far is like a Jevon Carter who can't shoot. Keon Ellis would be an absolute steal. He's a 6'6" guy who hits 3s at a great clip and plays elite defense.

Aren’t Keon Ellis and Ryan Rollins essentially the same player?

If we lose Ham we should try to get Penny to come be the lead assistant. Would love for him to work with KPJ

I don't think UW would let Kirk Penney go.

For what it’s worth in order of efficiency here’s how these guys rank:
Keegan
Monk
Kuz
RJ (RJ is a better three point shooter than Kuz but not sure you bank on that with how bad RJ is as a free throw shooter)

Obviously Monk is more able to create his own shot reliably but he’s probably the worst defender of the four.

I’d try to pry Keegan first because he’s the youngest of the group. Since he’s due for an extension and the Kings have been linked to Kuz, maybe it’s possible.

I think Rollins will be a much better player
