My guess is that is what will happen.

I don’t think people really get the composition of summer league rosters.

Walsh would still be one of the youngest guys, there are more guys born in the 1990s than there are younger than Walsh on these first (large) two rosters.

Walsh is there for PT. I would expect him to get released to get under the apron unfortunately. I like his as a prospect, but he just doesn't hit shots. Right now he is going into his senior year of college, so are celtics still committed to developing him?

I feel Walsh can be a useful nba player in the future. But right now he has no position. Too small for the 4, can't handlenor shoot well enough as a wing.

Does Max Shulga have Ty Jerome potential?

That's probably his ceiling. A guy like Jerome. Or a guy like Podziemski or Sam Merrill. Or a taller Pritchard/shorter Hauser.

All of those things are his ceiling, though. Definitely not a certainty - but a possibility.

I'm rooting for him :)

He seems to have high IQ, good shooting. And decent size..seems like he plays hard, too.

Definitely a good swing to take at pick 57.

Those 2 guys along with Bridges and Loften are some really nice pulls. Some good talent, between those 4 guys along with our 3 guys drafted this year plus Walsh, Norris and Scheierman.

Man, if we weren't so thin at PG, I'd say we could win the SL title.

A team with this many good players..it'll be interesting to see what the rotation looks like.

This is to my point about ages - people set this team up with expectations to win when they are way too young and inexperienced for that and they also don't have elite prospects/high draft pick guys either.

Jazz in SLC literally started a starting lineup of five first round draft choices of lotto guys and NBA starters, Filipowski, Sensabaugh and Cody Williams combined for almost 200 games (starting over 60 as a group) last year and meanwhile Celtics don't take JD Davison who essentially has never even played in the NBA.

I was surprised when I saw his athletic testing numbers. Definitely has solid athleticism. I also like his ball handling. I hope they give him solid minutes in SL. I really don't need to see Baylor. He's already pretty established in my mind. I want to see Hugo, Max, and Amari...

Lee called Stevens and said “my roster is full and I don’t have anymore available 2ways, give Isaiah Wong a call”.

Possible starting lineup: Shulga, Scheierman, Gonzalez, Walsh, Williams. Lofton and Norris will be in the rotation.

Jordan Walsh is the second youngest player on the team after Hugo Gonzalez.

No mention at all of Drew Peterson throughout these weeks, though it's understandable him not being on this roster as they know what he can do.

We know what he can do. But he still has no contract for this upcoming season - with Boston or any other team.

Peterson was on a 2-way contract for the 24-25 season. When the 24-25 season ended, so did his contract with the team. If he was going to possibly play for us this season (either on a standard deal or a 2-way) I would have thought he'd be on the SL roster, but he isn't.

Also, our 3 2-way contract spots for next season appear to be filled up already. Norris, when he signed his 2-way, he signed it for 2 years (rest of 24-25 season + 25-26 season) and it was announced that both Amari Williams and Shulga would be on 2-way contracts.

Barring something unforeseen happening, I'd say Peterson's time with the Celtics has ended.

A guy who is 25 (will be 26 in November), was undrafted and has yet to be on a standard NBA contract - his next stop might be playing overseas. Not that there's anything wrong with that :)

I'd take Drew over Walsh and Davison any day of the week.

I like Drew too. But JD got less than 100 minutes with the team last year while JW got over 400 minutes. I'd like to see what JD can do with more regular minutes.

I am a big Kenneth Lofton fan. Hope he makes the roster.
