If these Kuzma rumours are true it shows how desperate they are to get under the tax. Kuzma was absolutely awful this past season, he actually had negative win shares and negative VORP which is very hard to do, among players playing significant minutes he was 3rd worst in Win Shares and 2nd worst in Value Over Replacement, that's absolutely brutal.

seems like teams are only interested in taking him on if MIL adds prospects/picks though

Yah, once you're 37 you're pretty much done.
Is that why your pseudonym is Dennis 37?
King Arthur perceived 37 as old. Dennis protested, but, yah, after 37 one is no longer young.

Thought you said 37 is the peak and best year?
Don't recall that, but I am 65.

Harsh, but true enough.

Considering RJ has been thrown out there in every trade scenario possible while nothing has happened yet, what makes you think this one is any more true than the others?
If we were that desperate to get rid of him, it would have happened already.

He's an easy avoid.
Career loser, he's just awful. I want no part of him.
Wonder if they'd make the trade to get AJ in the fold, then waive and stretch Kuzma. Clears wiggle room this year and next, though at the cost of about 8M of dead cap for three years after that.
Doesn't seem like enough compensation for RJ, honestly.
I don't see how that is even an option.
Ducking the tax this season is not difficult. Next year, RJ is an expiring anyways. If his value stays relatively the same, he would not be difficult to move if necessary.

We need to trim a toe nail to get under tax line, not chop off the toe/foot.

There was no RJ to Bucks rumour at all. Just a trade discussion between Milwaukee and Toronto involving AJ Green. I don't think anyone in their right mind things AJ Green is getting in the way of a major trade like RJ going out.

We already have a bunch of players that would make AJ Green useless on our team. Battle can be our AJ Green next season and he will struggle to touch the floor with a healthy roster.

Even then we are nowhere near their level of incompetence. Botched three lottery picks that could’ve positioned themselves nicely post-Curry. Instead they are clinging onto what they have, doubling down on a really old core.
Our title run was always going to come to an end because of the age of our players and the fact Kawhi was a rental. Even the year after our championship, some didn’t even have us making the playoffs.
Not sure what youre saying. Gstate built their team from the ground up and got 4 titles while we had to trade for a rental to get 1.
Yes they didnt hit on 100% of their moves but clearly neither did we. How does this make Gstate incompetent and us better than them?
Dubs (barely) won in 2015 only because Kyrie and K-Love were injured. Then the KD years, thanks to the massive one-year spike in the cap. the last one was impressive, but Tatum was definitely playing hurt.
So that was your pathetic attempt at discrediting the entire Warriors dynasty eh haha.
It pisses me off when people try to discredit the 2019 championship because of Durant/Klay and you multiplied that by 4 lol.

When trading with an asset poor team like the Bucks, you take whatever you can of value and try to find a 3rd team if something doesn’t fit.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

I still like Moody as a player. He's only 23 and shot 37.4 from three last year. Plus he was at the end of the lottery at #14. The big misses by GSW were Kuminga and Wiseman.

I don't know that 'reporter' from a hole in the wall, but to me that kind of rumour is what gets floated by the home team to artificially raise the interest of a non-prospect. The Lakers and Celtics do this kind of rumour all the time. It's almost a sure sign that player is actually more mediocre than they appear.

Definitely but Moody is still just an average bench piece. They drafted him over Sengun and Murphy. That’s a really bad mistake. The Warriors would be in great shape if they just hit one of their picks and they couldn’t even do that. lol.

Descending contract, makes nearly $20M less over the span of 2 years compared to RJ, would be able keep Ochai and open up room for Jakobe/GD to get more minutes.
I can see why they would want to do it but I agree, Kuzma reeks as a player and person.
I don't want to watch him play on my team. RJ at least to me is fun to watch. I would need big incentives to take on Kuzma.

Sure, Sengun seemed like a no brainer it was strange how he dropped. Murphy wasn't on my radar at the time as I recall. I think Moody still has more in the tank and it's a big year for him to show it. I think he can be a top 7 player on a good team when it all works out. I've always been a fan of his so maybe I'm biased. They totally messed up pick #2 and #7 on a team with Curry which is just so bad. That we can agree on. Hindsight is 20/20 and looking back they should have traded the picks for win now players at the time.
