Knicks to Hire Mike Brown as Next Head Coach

Much preferred over Thibs, at least injuries wont be as big of a worry next season. Hard to know how it'll work out but with this much talent Knicks will still be a contendor, Brown may lose the locker room in two years but the first year I'm expecting decent results.

Rick was neither in charge of the offense or defense...he was basically a thibs yes man, which is what Thibs wanted.

If Brown is willing to relinquish some control (which is the collaborative part) we should be able to hire an good associate HC to be his right hand man.

He does have coaching experience with superstar and allstar players, so I hope that translates well with the personalities on the team

He emphasizes the importance of relationships with players, wants to be collaborative with Leon too

Definitely not my type of personality but I liked how he mentioned about evolving and what he learned from each team he was on. I also liked how he said you need to adapt to your personnel.

I guess we’ll see what happens on the court.

Mike Brown is ecstatic about this job and everything connected with it!
He talked about how he's going to take his fiance to a couple of resturants now because they wont be going to any for atleast 6 months during the season.
