Yeah, i don't understand what Kyrie has done to justify his jersey being retired. He's been injured a lot during seasons, leaving Luka to carry the load. Then completely vanished in the Finals, again leaving Luka to play almost solo. I think Kyrie has a very LONG way to go in order for his jersey to be retired.

He disappeared in Boston when we needed him most. ZERO chance of beating that Celtics team with that being the case.

Many get mesmerized by the amazing skillset and overrate him. Amazing player, but he's small.

He said he might not even come back this year... quite an expensive investment. Hope it turns out well.

Next draft is good, maybe very good... And we are not so good, too much injury prone and no real PG or floor general.

It's a great idea not to come back for him.

Street clothes will not carry us to PO, he can't. And Flagg is just a kid, not a Luka.

Of course i don't see Harrison&Kidd survive to another no PO season... So best case scenario for the Dallas Mavericks.

Nico needs to find ways to acquire more draft stock. We need to have it as an option. Maybe not on the level of OKC but we only have our first round pick in the next draft. In 2027. I don't believe we have any picks.

What, you don't want D'Angelo Russell running point?

In all seriousness, I expect Kyrie to be around for a while.

They will force Kyrie to come back, mostly if the ship will sink... I think D-Lo can play good basketball here (even better than Kyrie at the point) but this team is clearly dysfunctional and a bunch of players who doesn't fit the modern NBA and each others despite someone here think this Harrison vision

This roster has 3 timeline and the 2 older guys make 100M... It's just a no sense for a no contending team.

If Harrison vision had REALLY existed he would have traded Flagg for a starting PG and a starting SG, but he is just try to survive to Doncic gift keeping open all the doors with no really title chances.

Unfortunately for him it's not enough, Mavs have to be very good every season otherwise he is fired... I don't think it's possible but miracles happen so we will see.

At the start of this season I thought they had 3 FRP’s to trade. They have the Lakers pick and then two of their own that opened up this off season. Am I wrong?

You really think trading Cooper Flagg is what the Mavs should have done? Exactly what PG are you expecting to get in return?

No, it's what Harrison should have done if he really had a vision but he just try to save himself so Flagg is his lifesaver.
