Going to play with Harden tells me Beal didn't learn his lesson. He would be better off with a team where he can have the ball in his hands constantly like Chicago.

He probably knows all this but at this stage of his career just doesn't care and would rather just live in LA and make the best of it, especially with 3 little kids. Yea he's probably not doing the best move for securing another contract of any significance, but he also probably doesn't care at this point since he's made so much money

Eh, he'll get plenty of shots there, and they'll most likely be fine defensively. Despite having a turnstile backcourt of Harden and Powell last season, Clips were still a Top-3 defense. This is why coaching absolutely matters and also why I don't subscribe to this hyperbolic notion that you need all 5-guys in your starting lineup to be "two way" players. Lue always seems to cobble together good defenses with whatever personnel.

I am really intrigued by Josh Giddey especially since he can play G and F. Can we convince the Bulls to take Kuzma and do we have enough to give him the contract he is looking for @ $24 - $30 million annually? I know he is Restricted so that could also be a challenge...

Westbrook would absolutely ruin what has been an otherwise great offseason.

Not a great fit but Russ is one of my favorite non bucks players so it would be cool to have him on the team but also not at the same time

I love Russ and his intensity but I just don't want a guy trying to hero ball late or making bone headed mistakes. Plus that just makes us older again which I'd rather not have unless it's a guy like CP3 who has an insane BBIQ.

I think Denver and their fans actually seemed to like him quite a bit last season.

So much so that he's on the move again...so, there's that.

ETA: I have absolutely zero interest in Russ personally.

I have zero problems with Russ as long as he doesn't try to shoot 3s outside the corner. He can be used like AJax but actually run offense. The Bucks need another high level distrubuter.

I honestly don't think he will lose that much money. He will get get a ton of exposure over there. If KL even plays 50% of the games he is on a 50+ win team in the West in the brightest market in the NBA. If they do well and make a run in the playoffs, he will get a lot of attention.

ETA: as a person in his 30s with a young family, I'm not taking a job assignment unless it guaranteed a big change in my finances. As someone with with $110m guaranteed, the difference on his next contract is likely to look small. I don't think going to MKE is going to make an 8 figure difference on his next contract compared to going to LAC.

Seeing these reactions to what would be vet minimum signings (Beal, CP3, Russ) really puts it into perspective just how delusional people are about vet minimum players.

That's not even disrespect if you simply think another option would be better but rather the shear vitriol to the idea and how they "can't do this or is bad at that"

Like what kind of players do you expect for the vet minimum? No **** they have warts

It's almost as if we didn't didn't have ass hats like Pat Bev or extremely flawed guards like Jevon Carter playing significant minutes down the stretch. I hate Beal and Russ but they would no doubt help out depth. And almost guarantee Paul and Beal will have a better impact that even untouchable AJ Green

Brogdon defending SF and playing some spot pg duties while mostly shooting threes like his first stint would be amazing. We'd have more minutes for him than his body could handle.
