As you'd expect, Baylor and Max are hitting their 3s.

We know what he can do. But he still has no contract for this upcoming season - with Boston or any other team.

Peterson was on a 2-way contract for the 24-25 season. When the 24-25 season ended, so did his contract with the team. If he was going to possibly play for us this season (either on a standard deal or a 2-way) I would have thought he'd be on the SL roster, but he isn't.

Also, our 3 2-way contract spots for next season appear to be filled up already. Norris, when he signed his 2-way, he signed it for 2 years (rest of 24-25 season + 25-26 season) and it was announced that both Amari Williams and Shulga would be on 2-way contracts.

Barring something unforeseen happening, I'd say Peterson's time with the Celtics has ended.

A guy who is 25 (will be 26 in November), was undrafted and has yet to be on a standard NBA contract - his next stop might be playing overseas. Not that there's anything wrong with that :)

That's what it looks like.

Noa Dalzell:

The Celtics did not extend a qualifying offer to Drew Peterson, so he is currently an unrestricted free agent. Seems more likely at this point he’s not on the Celtics next year.

Kendall Brown and Hugo actually both measured 6'6.25" in bare feet at their combines.

Good detailed analysis of the Celtics draft picks from Ersin Demir, speaking with Bobby Kravitsky.

I'm almost certainly not going to watch this (but I'm sure others will so thank you for posting!).

What are the key takeaways?

He thinks a lot of Hugo Gonzalez, and goes into detail about what he does well in finishing, feel, footwork, and energy. He thinks his future depends on one thing: developing the 3. That will determine whether he can really make an impact. That's the swing skill he must learn.

He says Amari Williams has some strengths but major shortcomings, including being one handed offensively and having no range and little touch. Those things will keep him off the floor. He lauds his size, length, and of course his passing. The passing is a big deal for him. He thinks Williams will need a lot of work to develop, and is not particularly optimistic about his chances of contributing in the NBA. But he says, it depends how much work he does and what progress he makes in Maine.

Hugo and Baylor as key rotation players? I like the (potential) aggression and attitude they could bring.

Jordan Walsh is the second youngest player on the team after Hugo Gonzalez.

No mention at all of Drew Peterson throughout these weeks, though it's understandable him not being on this roster as they know what he can do.

I won't want to miss one minute of that action. My binky alert is ringing off the hook!

I liked this interview with Matt Reynolds, particularly where he talked about their wanting Scheierman to be the primary or secondary ball handler now: ;ab_channel=BostonCeltics

Reynolds does seem pretty sharp. Makes sense, as he's been with the org for 10 years now. Looks like such a young guy, too. Wouldn't shock me if he ends up as a HC one day..

Nobody smaller than 6'4. Stevens still traumatized from having to play Waters, Edwards and Pritchard together a few years back. I don't blame him.

Edit: And only Williams and Gregg bigger than 6'8. Expect a ton of switching.

Things I want to see:

1) Does Scheierman looked prime to make a leap? In some ways Summer League is built for players like him. Guards who can handle the ball and shoot can have big time showings.

2) How does the Walsh jump shot look? I really like his defense, if he can just hit some open threes I have confidence in his long term fit.

3) What does Amari Williams defense look like? The big knock on him is slow plodding feet on defense that may limit his defensive upside, so showing some nimbleness would make me a lot more confident he'll help this year.

4) Everything Hugo Gonzalez.
