Can't take too much out of summer league I remember D Melton, and NAW looking so good summer league and having a rough go in the season. Also Sheppard last year so it can take time if it ever develops at all. I remember McDaniels looked HORRIBLE summer league and then for the first half of his rookie season was balling out of his mind.

You're right that I don't have a strong opinion on whether he'll work out. I can see the fit, he wouldn't have been my pick but I can definitely see a world where he fully justifies his selection and has a higher outcome than most seem to be viewing as even possible.

It matters to me mostly because honestly it's pretty annoying to read constant posts about how big a mistake we made without any sort of nuance or acknowledgment of the possibility that it's not a wasted pick.

I would prefer the tone be one of acknowledgment that the 19 year old we just drafted is not a completely known quantity. Similar to how I feel about Salaun. I don't care if people are optimstic / pessimistic / whatever about him. I just find it tiring to read the same posts over and over **** talking the FO because of that opinion.

No it is annoying because he's regularly posting as if it is a forgone conclusion that Ace will become this superstar and Kon is going to be lucky to be a rotation player.

I'm not even a Kon fan but no one truly knows at this stage how their careers will pan out. He might be right but stop posting as if it's already happened.

It's possible Kon thrives with NBA spacing and his defensive IQ is better than expected, but he's only 6' 5" and its just so hard to see a not particuarlly athletic guard becoming a star in the NBA.... he may have the skillset but not the size and length of Gordon Hayward, Chris Mullen, Grant Hill, etc so it's just going to be an uphill battle. I would feel a ton better if he wasn't so bad off the dribble shooting the ball, that's not a great indicator

Sucks we have to wait so long for our team to play. I have no idea what management is doing lmao but my moto is simple.

The crazy thing is based on interviews from players Miles is viewed as our leader.

Just shows you how bad our culture is when Miles Bridges is the guy players are following. I can see why they pushing high character. But in order to change you have to have real leaders. Nothing against Miles, but he can't be that guy leading the charge.

i played in some "colourful" aussie football teams and do get this. i played with some guys who were straight out terrible, been to jail a couple of times, but when it came to football they were leaders. they were hard working, fearless and supported all their team mates. when it came to drinks after the game, you would have 1 and get the hell away from them before something crazy happened.
