Russ is the perfect guy to have on the floor when Giannis is on the bench.

Alternatively, Russ was actually so **** and frustrating to watch when he wasn't on the court with Jokic last season.

Go watch the shots Russ was taking as Denver was getting eliminated and explain how that is “know what their spots are”. Same goes for CP3 demanding to start.

The Nuggets bench as a whole with Jokic off the floor is always a mess. I do like Russ with our shooters around him as a bench guy. Just put him on the same no 3’s restriction that they hold Giannis to now.

I’ll take 12 minutes of Russ every night (phrasing)

If you think Doc will only play Russ 12 minutes a night, I don’t know what to tell you. He’d play him 25+ and he’d share the court with Giannis and Kuz.
Then Turner will somehow get the blame for the team not playing well even though it’s the spacing issues that will kill them.

Go look at the shots everyone on Denver was taking not named Jokic. Russ is right in line with them, especially the bench unit.

Doc played AJ Green for big minutes over Delon Wright last year. The Doc prioritizes vets talk is ridiculous. Wright was in that minutes range last year and the team cut ties when it wasn’t working out.

The Bucks had the league best 4 man lineup post all star break by finally putting 3 shooters with Giannis.

If would be a shame not to learn from that, and instead bring in the game worst shooting guard who also happens to be a braindead moron who causes locker room friction everywhere he goes.

Russ was an exceptional mess.

With Jokic vs without
Usage - 19.9 -> 30.4
Points per 100 possessions - 20.9 -> 25.8
TS% - 58.2 -> 46.8
Assists per 100 possessions - 10.4 -> 10.3
Turnovers per 100 possessions - 4.6 -> 7.2

I can see a

Russ/Dairy/GTJ/Portis/Sims lineup working

The key is to surround him with shooters and then get Sims to rebound all the westbricks

This rumor is from a non source. I don't trust Seigel at all.

Don’t want Russ at all whatsoever.

Beal is best. Else Wiggins.

Otherwise play Bogo.

Don’t make the team old with Russ. What a terrible choice it would be. Looks like Beal may not come to Mke or even Wiggins or Brogdon. Horst would be utterly stupid to get Russ or Paul.

Now do the rest of the Nuggets

The Russ experience would just be freaking awful because we know he's an awful fit next to Giannis and we know Doc would overplay him because that's what coaches do.

Doc start Prince at SG over AJG all year. He refused to cut ties in something that wasn’t working until they faced an elimination game.
