Springer, Vlad, Bichette, Barger, Kirk stacked together is constant threat. Inject some more power with Santander and Varsho - this could be one of the better offenses in the AL. Especially if Vlad can turn it on

Vlad playing superstar level (.950+ OPS) is what separates this team from frontline contenders Phillies, Dodgers, Astros.

Good news is Vlad is capable (and has a history) of turning it on late in the season.

Vlad has been this player we are seeing this year for the significant majority of his career.

He’s definitely capable of going on a power streak in the 2nd half but I’m honestly expecting more of the same (a very good but not great hitter).

They can but they won’t. This doesn’t look like it will last very long.

Unfortunate though because that means Bassitt will be out of the game and we will have to rely on the pen to get through the last 3 innings (which probably means high leverage guys).
