I cannot believe this thread has gone 6 pages without any mentioning - Sam I Am

Yeah, I never found it quite as funny when I learned his name because there's at least a nexus between Lafayette and Fat. Sleepy is just so random.

Smush Parker's real name is William so how's that?

That's a funny nickname

I am shocked that "The Human Highlight Film" didn't make page #1.

Iceman, Pistol Pete, Magic, AK47, Rainman and Air Jordan all day.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Every one of these is miles better than 'The Big Fundamental', 'The Big Ticket' or 'The Klaw'.

Brian Cardinal

The Custodian, Citizen Pain, The Janitor

Also the weirdest one:

Bimbo Coles

Bimbo is in German a rarely used, deragatory word towards black people. It's not on the same level as the N-Word and probably not a single person has said it since the early 90s, but I was super weirded out when I pulled Bimbo Coles for the first time as a trading card in 94. And that name stuck with me, so when I had internet I actually looked up the English meaning of the word, which made things weird in a completely different direction. Now fast forward to 2014 when I move to Portugal and learn that Bimbo is the biggest white bread brand in the country. So in that sense I guess his nick name is a success, since I often thought about a pretty mediocre 90s Point Guard on some bad teams while buying bread the last 10 years.

Magic. His nickname replaced his real name for crying out loud.
