You can only play Russ if surrounded by shooters. So here’s how that has to work for the Bucks:
1) he can never play with GA on the floor, which means he gets max 12-15 mpg
2) he can never play with Kuz, which means the 25 mpg Kuz gets will now be dragging down the spacing in GA lineups, great grand wonderful
3) he arguably should only play with Turner, which means half Turner’s minutes are when GA is off the floor
4) he can’t start and can’t close, which I’m sure he not having an issue with /greenfont
5) Doc has to be aligned with this. The same guy who started Prince at SG for a majority of the season and whose first playoff adjustment was getting the ball in Kuz’ hands more and asking him to take more shots.

Beal understands that because the money has dried up on the free-agent market, he is unlikely to make back the $13.8 million he would be giving up right away. His ideal move could be to sign a two-year contract with a player option on the second season, allowing him to re-enter the market in 2026 to sign for a larger number. – via New York Times

We got this in the bag.

Signing Russ would be braindead, I could totally see Horst doing it.

Anyone watch Beal? If we say KM and BP play defense at a 4 of 10 rating then what would Beal be?

He's a free agent. It's not a trade or a draft pick.

Russ would be depth here but he'd want a lot of PT... plus non-shooting wings struggle here.. I don't think he'd come

My reaction when we waived Dame, signed Turner and kept our keys guys.

My reaction if we then turn around ruin it all by signing Westbrook.

Horst gave out 10 player options this offseason just to play the Beal long game.

I’d say Beal isn’t coming here but much stranger things have happened……like signing Myles Turner one week ago.

Portland accept Jrue’s awful contract (one of the five worst in the league) while receiving zero draft compensation. And Jrue doesn’t even want to play for them. They then traded out of picking the guy shooting up everyone’s draft board to instead take Yi Part 2.

They are a non-serious organization that is ripe for the picking.

Traded for Jrue.

You traded for Kuzma.

Yep. But they're not letting Camara go. Young, athletic, defensive stopper, and cheap. Even a dumb GM can see that.
Teams don't develop young talent to trade them away.

Grant is definitely available, but why? He's just cashing a paycheck.

Choosing to believe Horst is about to keyser soze the league until proven otherwise.

Indiana was just the first to be blindsided.

Who’s next?
