DEN Gets: Malik Monk
DEN Gives: Zeke Nnaji, DaRon Holmes, & Julian Strawther
Why for DEN? The Nuggets pick up a 6MOY candidate spark plug that can score, shoot, handle the rock, and make plays for others (he'll also be a sneaky lob threat here and there for Jokic to utilize). He's also great insurance in case Murray goes down with an injury. Monk can help fill that void while he rests/rehabs. Lastly, this gives them a very strong bench in Monk, Hardaway, Brown, Watson, & Valanciunas to give them a chance to win another title.
PG - Murray / Monk / Pickett
SG - Braun / Hardaway
SF - Johnson / Brown
PF - Gordon / Watson / Tyson
C - Jokic / Valanciunas

SAC Gets: Zeke Nnaji, DaRon Holmes, & Julian Strawther
SAC Gives: Malik Monk
Why for SAC? The Kings are very guard heavy with Schroder, LaVine, Monk, Ellis, and Carter all needing minutes (and potentially Clifford if shows well early on). This trade allows them to help clear up that log jam a bit while picking up a few young guys that give them more size & depth in the frontcourt. Strawther slots in as the backup SF while Nnaji slots in as the backup PF. Holmes (depending on how he looks coming back from his torn achilles) has a chance to win the starting backup C spot (battling Eubanks and Isaac Jones)
PG - Schroder / Carter
SG - LaVine / Ellis / Davis
SF - DeRozan / Strawther / Clifford
PF - Murray / Nnaji / Saric / Raynaud
C - Sabonis / Holmes / Eubanks / Jones

Re: DEN - SAC
Denver already got brown and THJ this year. This depletes them of all their front court depth. Doesnt make sense to me. (I'm assuming JV is gone)

Does that make sense for Dallas now that they have signed Russell and resigned Exum?

Re: DEN - SAC
Malik Monk I afraid is going to be another victim of how the NBA values certain NBA players nowadays. Non all star scoring who play no defense is hardly going to have any value in a trade. The Nuggets already have Tim Hardaway Jr on the their roster and even if they didn't, this is simply a bit rich asset wise for someone of Monk skillset, unless you're betting on Holmes simply not developing into a important rotation level player, which is not a bet the Nuggets should be making.

Re: DEN - SAC
I don't like this for the kings, we aren't getting useful players here, and I don't believe in Holmes at all. His shot is ugly and he is undersized, for center and the kings just drafted a skilled center who will do well in the pick and pop. Also the kings are taking on a bad contract in nnaji.
