Should we be checking in on Dosunmu? Could be a sneaky good backcourt partner with Herro. Vucevic and Dosunmu package deal?

One of you cap guys help me out here. If Luka walks in FA and signs with us. Wouldn't the same contract be eligible for him as a 10 year vet or would it be a little more in LA for years accumulated with them?

Also wouldn't he make more here with our tax situation in Miami?

Not a cap pro by any means, but Ive looked into it previously and IIRC, LA can't offer Luka more money in FA than other teams (both before the 10year threshold and after).

Bulls would probably ask for Jaime or Jovic.

$250M for Chet lol? They better hope he can find a way to stay healthy and he was hot garbage in the finals but they won so I guess they don’t care. Shocked to see him get extended before Jalen but sounds like they’re working on Jalen’s now

I have this weird gut feeling that if we don't Move Terry, then Spo will definitely give him his fair share of minutes due to the hole we have at PG. Is there a world where Terry can be somewhat productive for us?

I guess we can directly deposit his salary as bets on good game performances. So he’ll get a chance to earn even more than his contract.

Only stat the Heat shouldn’t place a bet on is rebounds though as we don’t want him grabbing them from teammates

That headline
But this is why I wish we were able to add him. I think in a good system he's going to be big contributor to winning. He's got Horford potential imo.

Powell was a good addition but not enough to get me excited. Getting he and Collins would have been a perfect off season. That's just enough help for Herro and Bam to where there should be absolutely no excuses about what they show us they can do leading a team for a full season.

Was Keshad that impressive?! Guess i need to watch the last game

He's been good looked comfortable since the end of last season plus he's an insane athlete which we need more of. Think he's gonna play like Obi Topping role on this squad and excel in the 2nd unit this year.

With Knecht playing so poorly, Miami had shelved the idea of acquiring him. LAL then mentioned this to DK who took it upon himself to up his value.

3 team team trade

Heat get

PG/SG Ayo Dosunmu
C Nikola Vucevic

Lakers get

SF Andrew Wiggins
SF Haywood Highsmith

Bulls get

SF Dalton Knecht
PF Rui Hachimura
C Maxi Kleber

C Kelel Ware C Nikola Vucevic
PF Bam Adebayo PF Nikola Jovic PF Keshad Johnson
SF Norman Powell SF Jaime Jaquez Jr SF Simone Fontechccio
SG Tyler Herro SG Pelle Larson
PG Ayo Dosunmu PG Davion Mitchell PG Kaspar Jakucionos

* Trade gets us back 4.8 million in salary to fill out last roster spot. Potential buyout of Terry Rozier might give us more savings and open up extra roster spot to sign a vet two guard like Alec Burks.

Feel like we need a 1st from the Lakers for both Wiggins and Highsmith who fill a massive need for them but sign me up

I did not include draft capital but for sure I could see that happening. Non the less this is a great trade for all 3 teams involved. Bulls get out of paying Dosunmu and get the cost controlled Knecht. They also have a need for a PF and Rui is a good strech 4 fill in for them. This makes a lot more sense for the Bulls than trying to pawn Rozier on them for Vucevic.
