UTA: Kyle Anderson
CHI: Jevon Carter, 2028 CHI 2nd
Chicago gets the better, more useful player. Utah drops a bit of salary (2.4 million) and gets a 2nd.
UTA: Kevin Love, 2027 LAC 2nd, 2028 CHI 2nd, cash
BRK: fake 2nd
Brooklyn uses the last of their capspace to get some future 2nds and the cash to pay Kevin Love. Utah drops 4.1 million.
After waiving 4 million in cap holds, Jaden Springer, and KJ Martin this would leave Utah with about 26 million in cap space. They could then go after Grimes, who I like quite a bit. We could probably use a 2nd or two to also dump Svi's 3.7 million if we needed a bit more room. We could also stretch Nurkic and Carter to open another 13ish and have about 42 million in space which is maybe enough to get both Giddey and Grimes. Not sure we will or should go the cap space route, but I think there is a realistic path to opening space to force teams to make decisions on their RFAs and maybe steal Grimes from Philly.

Is Nurkic welcome in Denver?
Expand the trade of Saric, and Val and Nnaji for Nurkic, buyout Val, that's 12M in cap space.

Re: Utah clears cap space (CHI, BRK)
How is Anderson useful to the Bulls? They're going to start Buzelis at the 4, I see Huerter at the 3. They have Okoro, Williams, Essengue and even Phillips to come off the bench at the forward spots.
Anderson isn't the missing piece to get into the playoffs and he's not going to take minutes from any of the 6 players that are younger than he is.
if you can explain

The bulls only care about winning between 38 and 40 games, Anderson helps them do that even off the bench.

I think they could use more playmaking and Anderson is better than all those players. Obviously the young guys get prioritized, but I think he can carve out 20 minutes and synergize particularly well with Coby White. But I think moving Anderson for this level of savings will be easy, so if Chicago would rather just eat Carter, that is fine. Anderson is obviously a luxury and not a huge need.

Now that Utah is in the market for guard talent again, they should just use Markkanen to trade for Ivey (and more).
Just my biased opinion.
