Vlad's baserunning just cost them a run. He needs to stop there and wait until the runner crosses home rather than running directly into a tag. Just an all-time game of stupidity from him.

Terrible baserunning. Vlad isn't a rookie, he can't be doing this crap.

Yep, ground into a double play, ground into a forceout, ground into another forceout, and really dumb base running.

He's been doing it for 7 years and there haven't been any consequences yet (other than being handed what will end up being the worst contract in baseball history). Nothing will change.

Can we maybe pinch hit for Straw in this inning with someone who can hit and pretend we're actually trying to win this game?

Read on Twitter

Not even a 10 game win streak was enough to get this franchise to give up their insufferable process and behave like a regular team.

And down goes Burr with an arm injury. Running out of viable healthy RPs again with Yimi and Sandlin also out.

They're pinch hitting Springer now with nobody on against an elite RP instead of in the previous inning with a RISP

Atrocious managing, this stuff adds up

Winning games will always come second to the high performance department.

They've been doing this crap all year, usually in the last game of a series. It's like they're unaware they don't have to start the entire bench in the same game.

Now that Vlad has secure the bag, he owes it to the team - and himself - to revamp his swing. We can't have our main power guy hitting into double plays on a regular basis. Hopefully with confidence growing in the new hitting coaches, Vlad will let them help him figure it out.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Can somebody ask the manager post-game why Straw and Heineman hit in the 7th and why he decided to then pinch hit Springer with nobody on

Would love to hear the nonsense he comes up with

Awful day for Vlad. Completely uncompetitive at-bat in the biggest moment of the game.

Taylor is a great pitcher, it happens.

What shouldn’t happen is literally costing the team runs on the basepaths on little league level mistakes. At a minimum, they’d be tied right now if he had any baseball sense at all and maybe even leading.

See how Vargas gave himself up there to ensure Quero reached? Sigh.

Lmao at Kirk now coming out to pinch hit in the 9th with nobody on instead of with RISP in the 7th too
