You think the guy we have is better than him at shooting 3s? You are in for a RUDE awakening.

The guy we have will body him in the post and get whatever he wants, Essengue is really slim. Essengue's shot is not that much better than CMB either...

So I haven't seen any official word on Alijah Martin being signed. I think there is a two-way spot left and/or they could release AJ or Castleton or even Battle (highly doubt). I wonder if I missed it or if not what would be the hold-up. I assume he gets a Jamal Shead type of deal rather than a two-way.

Two-way spot is open. I wouldn't be surprised to see them start him on that 2 way or sign him to a non-guaranteed deal to start...

With our tight tight cap situation they going to be counting pennies until a trade happens to solve the cap issues. But I do think by start of season he probably does get rookie deal if he looks like a player.

Apparently we’re favourites for the summer league chip. If there is one? I don’t follow it that closely lol.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Don't bet on the Raps, they shut their guys down after a couple games.

There are playoffs to determine the champ and we pull a lot of guys out when we do make the playoff rounds

I would have done it lol. For me, it was Noa or Coward.

I thought they would pick Coward. His shooting splits with a 7'2 wingspan seemed to be the move but we will see if CMB is better. Grizzlies moving up tells me Cowards gonna be good.

I think its highly unlikely we drop BAttle at this point. I'm hearing he's the hardest worker on a team of hard workers. He's in the gym more than anyone. Grady may need to be careful here. Battle had some very good moments here and has been much more consistent off the ball.

Great article by Grange. The young guys are taking the offseason and summer league really seriously and Jamal Shead is clearly the leader. It’s reminding me of the bench mob days. Guys working out together and having mini training camps throughout the offseason to build that chemistry. I love that they aren’t afraid to say they are taking summer league seriously and they want to win. I think we are going to have a really good group of young players in the future and I’m looking forward to this summer league for sure. I believe in all these guys

Grizzlies also moved up for Zaire Williams. They traded JV and the 17th pick (Trey Murphy) for him. Grizzlies have generally drafted fairly well though so we will see. Coward is an intriguing talent.

You saw "Noa is a project im glad we decided against" and heard "CMB is a better 3 point shooter than Noa"? Interesting

I take it all with a big grain of salt - It's really the message the FO wants to project after 2 awful seasons and a change at the top - Summer league will inform us very little.
