My guess is it won't take long. :) He'll be a kid in a candy store! :D

BTW, I like JB. We should go with that.

JB boring as hell. Gee his first and last initial. I know Joan of Development Arc is a little long, but we need better than JB.

Fortunately our guys aren't total twigs like Holmgren. Unfortunately our guys aren't as skilled as Holmgren.

Rocco is actually looking pretty damn skilled. Joan is just super raw. If the can somehow get him a respectable 3pt shot, it's over

I’m pretty confident that“The Baron” is going to be the one that sticks. Shortens his last name organically and lines up with being an imposing figure (I can see Michael Grady pulling it out for a big swat.

It's not bad, but Barons aren't French. Not to me at least.

Not again

He will tell you that is a word that comes from old Latin that evolutioned in the old french.

As I said, if you have to look for and explain the semantic part of a word, you are making it too hard.

And if you look for in some internet sites, it's not clear that the noble title was created in France.

We have barons where I am from and, in my mind, I will always remember Manfred Von Richthofen. The nicknames have to be easy and related with the people to stick.

The tie-in to Beringer is literally the pronunciation of his name. It's not that complicated.

He gonna have 5 kids by 5 different women by the end of his rookie season now.

Fun comments:

Had him top 10 bc I’ve genuinely never seen functional twitch (at his size) like that in my life

Except for the Mavs how can the gms before MN allow this kid to pass?

Defensively he has Tyson Chandler upside. Completely switchable, great feel for rim protection, great feet to keep position and avoid fouling, good fundamental hand work, can easily recover and seems to have some natural patience in waiting for the ball handler to make his move, which is pretty crazy for a guy that's that young and inexperienced and can only be instinctual at that point. I'm not huge on his defensive rebounding but there's every chance he wasn't being asked to clear the glass on D.

That's actually a lot of what his first summer league game looked like. It's just one game, but the kid showed out and he looked comfortable doing it..
From a fundamental standpoint it is better for a man to have nothing but be under the protection of Jesus Christ than for him to have everything he could ever want yet be completely without.
