This is summer league and I'm not going to overreact to one game, but if Bogi plays bad then we need to trade Giannis and blow it up.

Reece Beekman, one of my all time favorite AAU players, is on Denver summer team.

Elite BBIQ and great defender. But he doesn't have much size and can't shoot.

I actually think we have a pretty nice squad.

That said, if we lose, trade giannis and rebuild, if they lose, trade jokic and rebuild

Shams reporting that Giannis "keeping a close eye on the Bucks Summer League performance" before making a decision on his future.

Wait, we actually still have Livingston on the SL roster even after we cut him? Awkward lol.

I dont think so. They probably knew going into the offseason that the Bucks were cutting him before the SL agreement. We see this all the time where we kept recycling fringe guys between the G-League and SL. It kind of makes sense where if the Bucks need a guy due to injury, they are more likely to get someone they are familiar with then some random off the street.

I think we are kind of in the middle looking at the rosters. Having a guy like Ajax who has started NBA games and multiple years of experience helps, but other teams have higher-end talent with multiple young firsts. But some others team have legitimately noone at nba level

I mean sure but it's certainly rare to roster a guy for 2-years and then permanently "demote" him to the G-league roster. I'd be stunned if both Chris and Andre weren't simply auditioning for a new team tonight.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him get one of the 2 ways, or even come back to the main roster with a mid-season guarantee date after everything has shaken out.

Bucks favored by 3.5
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Tyler Smith is definitely the guy for me this summer. I have no faith in AJax or Livingston contributing to the big squad this year, but Smith might still have an outside chance.

Excited to watch BOGO but this is really a time where you want to see Tyler Smith start looking like the best player on the court for stretches. That first full offseason of development is always crucial.

I'm high on Tyler Smith and it would be great to see him crack the rotation this year, but let's not forget he's still younger than AJAX was in his first summer league and is probably still one of the youngest guys on the roster.

Every year im reminded how you'd have to be an absolute degen to bet on SL.

Only excuse is if you're going to the games and want to have a little action

Yeah, i used to go to summer league every year and a part of me would die being invested in the game only for the coaches to clear the bench in the fourth in a tight game as if it doesn't matter (it really doesnt).

Always excited to see if our youngs make a jump. Always disappointed in the sloppiness and lack of interest our staff tends to display with summer league. Maybe this year will be different, but probably not.

Jeff Teague made an interesting point about 2nd year guys trying too hard and thinking they are better than they are in their 2nd summer league. I'm rooting for Tyler. I like him more than the AJ we traded. But I'm not expecting him to turn into Chris Bosh like Giannis thinks. At least not this summer.

A lot of experienced G League vets on the team, with Nowell and Malik Williams added to Nance and Jameree. This might not look as ugly as usual, even though Smith and Bogo are the only guys with upside.

Bucks are favored tonight kind of heavily, so I’ve gotta take one for the team and bet against the bucks
