I have a real good old friend was out there in the Marines decades ago. Tells me I would love it out there. As much as I can be aggressive, I grew up on the beaches of Long Island. Family/myself were fisherman/clammers for a bunch of years. I am a salty dog at heart. As much as I love the country, I need the shore. As much as have no problem getting down and dirty, I really am laid back hippy most of the time. I need to get to SoCal. Wesley Walker is from there. He's another one who told me I would love it out there.

It's on the bucket list and at some point I will get there.

Just fnished up H section. Lucked out - most of the snow melted off. Trail was really well maintained. It was nice. The bugs however were not nice. Though it was expected with the melt off. Views were spectacular:

The crazy amount of bugs off of snowmelt weird me out. Especially since it's otherwise so not buggy out here.

They kinda force me to be in constant movement. When I finally stop I throw on lightweight wind-pants/coat and a bug net.

Yeah, ill do some "scrambling" but if its too spicy im out. Truthfully anything that gets around 5 and I start caring about my future more than bagging peaks. And honestly its not the going up that is the worst part. Climbing down fcking sucks.
