Miller really looks bad in this one. Dilly is disappointing me as well. I really like JB. Missi was one of the best rookies last year and JB is giving him real trouble. I was also surprised we played JEdwards so much more than Rocco.

He can score, but he doesn't really think the game which is my personal frustration. His physical gifts with Garza's effort and IQ would be a solid role player at worst.

I just found the hate on him to be a little over the top. Not a good game really, but 50% shooting and leading the team in points and rebounds can't be all bad.

And he did. 4-4. Put the stink of last years FT shooting in the rear view mirror.

Beringer was great, Shannon/Miller/Clark were good (if you ignore the awful 3pt shooting), and Dillingham was OK (7 TO and 1-8 inside the arc are areas that need improvement). I'll be curious to see if the team goes for a Summer league championship or if Shannon and Clark get pulled after a couple games).

No doubt that Beringer looks like a revelation. Very impressive.

He's listed at 230 which isn't terrible and it looks like that's 230 in muscle. He was not getting pushed around like a young KG that's for sure. And he's got a bit of that Jaden "I'm not here to play any kind games with y'all" look to him.

He was great. TSJ was great.

Despite putting up numbers, none of Dilly, Miller, or Clark did the things they’ll need to get NBA minutes. Dilly turned it over at an insane clip and just didn’t look like a point guard. Miller had great counting numbers but he needs to shoot it. Clark was great defensively but has to hit shots. By the end of that game he was turning down open shots to drive into a crowded paint.

All said, good first game. Hopefully game two they all settle down and play well.
