Guys with conditioning/weight issues are a huge red flag. If they can't take it seriously with millions on the line, there's little chance of things changing after they get the millions.

The Raps tend to draft fit, motivated, long dudes, so I was pretty certain Queen wasn't going to be the pick.

Cooper is loving the open court of the NBA lol. A lot more spacing than he's used too.

Meanwhile:
Joan Beringer (MIN)
— 11 PTS
— 8 REB
— 6 BLK + 2 STL
— 5/6 FG
— 22 mins

I was hyped about him and we passed on a pretty obvious rim running/shotblocking C. CMB, please be legit.

I don't know a lot about him as a prospect, but some of those sequences were impressive. Defensively, he looks like a modern switchable big that is going to be effective at guarding other positions too.

Cooper looks like a future great second or third option. Needs lots of work on his jumper and handle but has a great foundation. Knows where to be, especially defensively. Not a guy I’d give the most possessions if I want to win a championship, though.

That said, he is going to make a lot of all star teams and play on a lot of really good teams. Big floor raiser. Just not a top 5 player in his future imo.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Queen did have 7 TOs. Didn't watch as I can't really watch more than 5 minutes of a non Raptors Summer League game.

Return to Toronto Raptors
