Beyond the top prospects (Cam Boozer, AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Nate Ament) there are quite a few guards (Mikel Brown Jr, Darius Acuff Jr, Bennett Stirtz, Tahaad Pettiford, Boogie Fland, Labaron Philon), wings (Tounde Yessoufou, Dash Daniels, Dame Sarr, Isaiah Evans, Alijah Arenas, Ian Jackson), forwards (Karim Lopez, Caleb Wilson, Karter Knox, Yaxel Lendeborg, Nikolas Khamenia, JT Toppin, JoJo Tugler) and bigs (Jayden Quaintance, Chris Cenac Jr, Koa Peat, Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon) who will probably be selected in the first round and could become the next Toronto Raptor depending on where we pick in the draft next year.
Raptors record prediction: 45-37 (6th place in the East)

So according to the orher thread we win 50 games, and then we get into the lottery. Should win the chip and pick 1st while we are at it ;)

Dybantsa reminds me of young Pascal. Different game though.

Will be less active this year since the Raptors will probably be competitive and drafting in the 20s. Returning guys I like are Haugh, Condon, and Gillespie.

Haugh- high IQ, aggressive player with some skill and shooting.

Condon- very high IQ on both ends, great lateral quicks and good rim protector, tough as nails. New to the game and needs to work on his shooting and finishing around the basket.

Gillespie- Maryland's best player last season (wasn't Queen), had a huge leap after transferring there and now the senior goes to Tennessee where we've seen Rick Barnes turn seniors Knecht and Lanier into NBA draft picks and they were not nearly as good as Gillespie is in their years prior to transferring.

Gators will probably go back to back with Condon and Haugh so they've got that going for them. I also thought they were back end of lottery worthy picks this past season.

I can see a pathway for us getting a top 4 pick this draft.

Go for playoffs, miss play in and get rewarded with a top pick maybe even win the draft.

We're going to learn that tanking is the only way to build a contender, whether you develop the talent you draft or trade the picks. This is what every contender is built on.

By the following off-season we're going to be debating whether we should turn IQ, Ingram, and even Barnes into picks. The best part will be no one will want to give up picks for those players. They will expect picks for us to off load those contracts.

The best case scenario is we're a low seed playoff team that gets bounced in the first round. We will probably see Barnes under perform and we'll see CMB dominate. Posters will be calling for CMB to start over Barnes and that'll spell the beginning of his exit.
