He can be a scary shooter and he does what he's supposed to do. That's pretty much it.

Maybe it's to keep flexibility if we need him in a trade but weird that we guaranteed more to extend the deadline

He shot 38.4% from 3 & 97% from the line in the g-league, but he's not a shooter cuz he was just a solid shooter & good defender in college a few years ago. You know 3&d is a specific role, right?

AJ Green, as a 4 yr player, in a mid major conference, shot 37.8% from 3. In the NBA he's shot 42.1%. This just in - many players become better shooters over time w/ practice, especially when they start with a good foundation. AJ Green once became a thing, starting in summer league.
