Bummer that Edgecomb and Harper didn't play. Are they going to?

Cooper reminds me of Deni, with a bit more athleticism.

In all earnestness…Can somebody please explain to me why I can’t stand Bronny? Kid’s heart exploded and he has impossible shoes to fill…I SHOULD be rooting for him. And yet, he’s just so hatable for some reason. Am I really that big of an a-hole?

Nepotism has much to do with that

Front page of ESPN after the #1 picks Summer League debut? Bronny James missing a game winning shot.

After half a decade of mostly busts with a few exceptions, looks like French Basketball is finally cementing its spot as THE international talent producer. Their national team is gonna be crazy in a few years

Its the same in Football. Im telling you, these banlieues are crazy talent producers

Let's be honest here. Someone writes these articles and edits these pages. That someone is simply doing what he/she is being instructed to do, which will certainly please their boss / team leader etc. and be beneficial to their career.

Pleasing Lebron, the whole LBJ brand and, ultimately, even Nike is simply an awesome career move. As a fan of the game, I'd obviously appreciate a more objective approach, but we all know that's not how business and careers work. That said, I'm not here to lecture anyone on this. These guys know where the money is and will continue to get to the money, as they should.

Nikola Topic looking good so far. I'm getting Ricky Rubio vibes from him because of how he struggles with shooting. His feel for the game and court vision look way passed his years, despite not even playing last year.

I think there are no FIBA events next summer, thus, that would be a great opportunity to work on shooting.

Hate is crazy for a kid who's seems super respectful and has done nothing wrong, been through real life or death adversity and resumed his dream. Also seems like he is self aware and realistic of his skills or lack there of and what he's not. Spoke about how only way he can see minutes is if he's a menace on defense, knows his best case scenario is at best a end of the bench spot guy.

Duke4life831 wrote:Basically what I said before, looks like Flagg from last November. The jumper just didn’t fall (the last two turn around jumpers were just flat out bad shots though), but the dude just did everything else.

6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and just 1 turnover. That to go with a bad shooting night was kind of the normal game for Flagg during his first 10 games last year.

That has to be the exciting thing though if you’re a Dallas fan. Physically he looks the part, or at the very minimum. Athleticism won’t be something that prevents him from hitting his ceiling in the NBA. All those little things he showed at Duke, showed them tonight. And again, a 6’8 18 year old wing just played a very high usage game on the ball, dished out 4 assists and his only turnover was a slip.

Yes I know this is summer league. Just saying outside of the jumper being off, everything looked the part.

He lack the ability to create his shots at the NBA level. It might be a rough rookie season for him playing next to 2 bigs without a 3 point shot and Russel as his main PG.

Maybe if Flagg played like the actual #1 pick he would win the headlines?

Bronny is LeBron's son and he missed a GW shot. America feeds off hate. Let's hate on the kid and take the pressure off Flagg who had a bad game.

flagg’s athleticism is pretty average for nba standards, his head is below the rim on most of his dunks as a 6’8-6’9 guy

The Mavs signed Phil Handy, so Cooper is going to get the right developmental coach to work with everyday.

Flagg is clearly going to be a bust. If I was Nico I would be on the phone with Brad Stevens offering Flagg for dead eye shooter Hauser and workhorse Tillman.

And despite his poor shooting it's obvious to anyone actually watching the game that Flagg is miles ahead of Bronny in pretty much every aspect of the game.
