Cut AJax and minimum contract to Livingston

A 2 way contract is plenty for Livingston. Don't waste a 15 man roster spot on a project

He shot 28% from 3 in 11 G League regular season games. He's progressing, but he's still a total project.

He's a project with actual upside though. Put up 18/8 as a 21 year old in the G-League last year. I'm not saying guarentee him a role or anything but I would like the Bucks to be able to retain him, most likely on a 2way

Livingston- of the guys who mattered, he was easily the best. I would really like to be able to get him back on a 2way over Bouyea or Nance

Ajax- he was fine. Nothing special but he isnt built for a SL setting so I dont read too much into it

Tyler Smith- He looks improved on last year but didnt live up to the hype

Bogi- rough first game, seemed overwhelmed mentally & overmatched physically

Nance/Bouyea- meh, they were fine but I'm fine cutting either tomorrow

I dont care about soon to be 27 year old Cormac Ryan

This is fantastic. i now have a few more members in my lonely Chris Livingston club.

I still don't know if he has enough, but he has improved in every facet of his game since he got to the Bucks.

I'm not worried about his three point shooting at all. I've watched him a lot before Herd games and it looks so much bettter than when he arrived.

His problem is that he is decent in every phase of the game, but he isn't great at any of them.

But he has shown a very high BBIQ, which is really important.

He has to play. Would I give him some minutes on the Bucks? Yes, but it's more important that he gets a lot of playing time and that can only happen on the Herd. I'd stick with hm for another year and make a decision.

Been with you on an island for this take, BigO. He's missing an inch or 3 to go from "intriguing but developing" to "can't miss", but he understands his role and scraps, at the least. One can squint and see a young PJ Tucker minus 25 lbs.

Surprised by Livingston's craftiness and vision. Looks like he's really developed nicely.

So awesome buzzer beater aside, we can all agree that this game kinda sucked and so do all our "young prospects" right? I'd already given up on Andre and Livingston so whatever, but Tyler Smith looking like the exact same guy is a bummer. Bogo nowhere near ready to be on an NBA roster (not surprising). I guess Boo-Yeah is making a solid case to keep him on a 2-way?

I mean, isn't this pretty much the case with every team in every summer league game? The games are terrible, just free-for-alls with guys who will never see an NBA court. Even the players who turn out to be good look like butt because they a) are trying to play with guys who are terrible, b) are trying to show off for coaches, and c) have had no time to gel with their teammates.

Summer league ball is trash and should only be hate watched.

I hope we can still get a look at Sears soon. That calf strain makes me think he could miss most of the summer league.

My thoughts:

-Bouyea: Great buzzer beater. Needs to shave his head and pass more. Not keen on keeping him on a 2-way as I'd rather those primary ball-handling duties go to Sears.

-Livingston: I thought he looked really good. Shot well and got to the rim. Good perimeter defense, though a little too upright at times. Consider me on the Livingston over AJax train.

-AJax: Still a spazz on offense and still fouls too much on defense, even against SL competition. His perceived perimeter defense may still provide value in a trade.

-Smith: Liked his perimeter defense. Shot is too flat and he's too weak around the rim on both offense and defense. Maybe he's a low-level 3&D guy some day.

-Bogi: Holy wow was he bad. He fails the eye test in every way. On the bright side, he looks to have the frame to add another 30-40 pounds, which would help. Back to Europe, buddy.

-Cormac: Don't really care about his age, he looked the best of anyone. Shot was smooth, passing adept, defense good enough. No room for him on the big club, but I'd love to see him on the Herd.

-Pete: He's a fine player. Happy to keep around on a 2-way. Good shot, but looks scared to dribble ... and for good reason.
