And this right here proves he’s the most overrated Suns player. He gets free passes for being overrated in Phx.

Wild part of more people in Arizona know who Luis Gonzalez is than they know who Devin Booker is in AZ. (If you live in AZ you know exactly what I mean).

50% of our Salary is about to be locked up on a borderline star and a ghost. Just inexcusable!

Preaching. Like any other Ishbia decision - it seems much more emotional not analytical and strategic

Durant - emotional
Beal - emotional
Booker - emotional. Booker stans love him, the city loves him, he wants to be here. (All nonsense and BS if you are trying to win )
Mark Williams - emotional. Oh boy, we traded for a player!!! (Where I think you figure out the apron levels, Beal first before taking on salary)

I would have waited one year to see if Booker can prove he can lead a team
I looked at some of Bookers metrics - he is a slightly better DeMar DeRozan - who is paying DeMar 75m?

Not sure about your crusade against Williams, if he stays healthy there's a good chance hes their second best player behind Booker.

Its pretty easy - if you don't take on Williams - as an Owner/GM - you control things. Now, Ishbia is at the mercy of Beal to get below the lux tax aprons. I don't think taking on Williams is worth stretching/waiving Beal for. My goals would have been to make the moves first to put yourself in a better position with Beal. If Beal wanted too - he can say "not taking the buyout" - and Ishbia would be hosed.

Not saying don't trade for Williams - just do it on the back end after you have Beal done, maybe traded Allen &/or O'Neale. Teams know the Suns are in a bad position and Beal, his agent, know the Suns are in a bad position from the apron and cap standpoint.

Interesting twitter thread by the Suns.

Showing summer league photos of Book, Green, Brooks, Williams, Allen, O'Neale, Gillispie, and Richards. Nothing for Beal. Seems like the front office is happy with their vet lineup for now.

Yeah, we are gonna have a nice mix of veterans and youngsters on the roster. Beal gone for sure and probably one of Richards/Allen/O'Neale.

I bet we get Westbrook, CP3, or Brogdon by season start.

Gambo:
After the long awaited Beal buyout happens I expect the roster spot to be used on a guard, most likely a point guard but could be a combo guard as well.

Ok...Malcolm Brogdon?

Not sure about his next salary. MLE for taxer teams?

There have been reports from different sources that linked us with Melton, CP3 and Brogdon.

Anyone else? I haven't seen that we are interested in Payne, Westbrook or Fultz but they can fit the PG/combo G description.

Melton, Paul, Brogdan and Westbrook are the names I have heard/read

I think it will be Brodie for some reason

EDIT: Gambo on twitter from Europe responding to people - it won't be Chris Paul. Which if you are CP3, last year of your career - go out with a better chance to win this year.

There were/are multiple paths to get under the second apron and Williams makes so little he really doesn't impact that much.

The goal is to add as much talent as possible. Williams has that and is 23 years old.

I get it the Suns have done lots of dumb **** for like ever. But kind of feels like the whole Beal strech (I get the argument against) has you on tilt.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

In the answers Gambo says that we will not sign Malcolm Brogdon neither.

Where did you see rumors about Westbrook and the Suns?
Westbrook was the best out of all of them last year. He basically was an starter for the Nuggets.

I have no idea how connected Ary is - but Ben Simmons - interesting name. Good defender, can run the PG. Low risk - well the health thing but for the vet minimum...see what he has.

Ben Simmons and Booker are eskimo bros. Wonder if they still upset about that or they can move forward . Imagine

Simmons
Green
Booker
Brooks
Williams

Thats a big lineup with Defense .

So many things we could do with our lineup and bench for some fun rotations
