Don't know how this kid will see any sort of minutes in Mazzulla's offense.

Yeah, Hugo looks pretty bad so far.

Also, did Lofton steal a Celtics jersey and no one caught on so they’re like OK. I guess he’s part of the team?

Depends on his knee situation. Tore his acl in 23’. Bone bruise last season.

Sounds like he's ready for Rob's old role.

He was on a Two-Way last year, too.
Not sure what his situation is now?

Bassey is a FA.

And has too many years of NBA experience to be on a 2-way.

Man, ya'll are way too reactionary. I don't think he looks slow. Was moving well up the floor on that play where HUgo just got fouled shooting the 3

2 plays where a grizzlies big scored over him in the paint, but no big deal. He played solid D on those plays. Sometimes guys just make tough, contested shots..jeesh

Nah, he looked bad, 4th string center bad.

Only thing off really is his shooting. Just like Cooper yesterday.

Bassey hasn't played a lot of games due to injury. I recall some on this board wanting to pick him up in his draft. Always looking for bigs, sometimes it just takes a few years.

This year's Noah Vonleh?

Hugo is so damn quick and moves around the floor so effortlessly.

LOfton, rough start..yikes. He not only has to lose like 50 lbs but he is making bad passes and missing lots of shots near the hoop too. Might have to go back to China

Amari with a nice pass to Norris for the 3. Amari's passing is special.

Celtics need another big. The chances of Queta and Garza not getting into foul trouble is slim to none

Meh.

Kalkbrenner was a prototypical Steven Big East guy, decent from 3, and could protect the rim. I have no idea why he traded out for an extra 2nd, only to pick a slow footed big that can't shoot, when this team desperately needed the front court help immediately.

Disagree.

Also, it's ridiculous to draw such a conclusion based on 5 mins of playing time..especially in sumemr league, considering historically summer league is a poor indicator for how good these guys will be in the NBA.

Unless you think Mfiondu Kabengele is better than Wembanyama..and Carsen Edwards is better than Jalen Brunson..

Amari just ran the floor and dunked it in transition. Kalkbrenner would have still been back at the half court line.

He had season ending injuries in two separate Seasons.

He may be able to petition for am extra year, to be a Two-Way.
