Most polished Hornets summer league team ever? Feels like it.

Well we’ve been begging for bare minimum an average PG on the the SL roster for what seems like a dozen years.

None of the draft picks are putting up numbers, but they clearly know how to play basketball.

Salaun having a pretty solid game, even though he still gets tunnel vision.

KJ playing very well.

Wasn't the biggest Kon fan going into the draft. I like what I see on the court even if his shot isnt falling tho.

Nice resilience by KJ. Gets shoved into the third row with no call on defense, then comes back and hits that three.

Edit: Make it two threes.

Salaun is making defenders look foolish with his new handle. He's had several really nifty moves. If that sticks it's going to add a major dimension to his game.

Salaün is playing with more confidence but he's still Bambi-ish out there at times. the physical traits are starting to show more than they did last season.
Knueppel is playing solid but his shot mechanics aren't so solid today. and he's already been targeted a bit in switches and P&R.
McNeeley is looking quite good. he seems to have some kind of uncanny ability to finish around the basket through contact. interesting.

Everyone looking solid so far. Wish Kon's was making shots, but a dud shooting game in Summerleague is pretty much a rite of passage for top Hornets draft picks.

Say what you will about the overall ceiling of Peterson's picks, but they do fit together cohesively as a lineup.

Kon 0-5 is a bad look. But if the worst part of his game is the shot I’ll live with that, we know he’s a dead eye shooter.

Salaun is still a mess I think you guys are insane lol. Everything he does is an accident.

KJ, McNeeley, Sims were our 3 best players

I have many more thoughts on Kalk that I’ll send later

Man we would have nailed this draft had we took Ace #4

McNeeley and Kalk might be legit rotation players this season.

Gotta get Kon going now. He's just out there not doing much as of yet.

If Kon isn't making shots this is what you will get. He's a shooter we all knew this. It's up to Lee to run some plays for him and keep him involved as a shooter. He definitely can't create off the dribble from what I have seen so far.

Hes playing well even without his shot falling. We know he can shoot.
