He has a 6'6" PG and and a slew of 6'5" guys. Most of whom, if not all, have plus plus wingspans. Same difference.

Pretty scared of what Boston is doing.

Shedding salaries and players who help them win.

Feel they will be a team focussing on getting into the lottery, with more cap flexibility in the summer of 2026 too.
Than Tatum comes back (even at 85% of his capabilities still a damn good player).

Brown
White
Tatum
Pritchard
2026 pick

Yeah their guys all have insane wingspans. That's the reason they are effective, not their mediocre heights.

We all know the NBA gives them the #1 pick if they tank too. New owners just paid $6B for a marquee franchise and the league office will make sure they get a top pick in their gap year.

I feel like if the 2nd apron didn’t exist, LeBron would be traded to Cleveland this summer to close out his career pursuing a 5th chip.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards/Council
George/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Yeah that doesn't terrify me at all. They won't have any big men, and that was what they always needed. The Celtics were devastating with Jrue and White, with one missing that's a huge hole. Tatum won't be healthy for a year, and then a year of dealing with his issues and ramp up problems, so it's really 2 years. Brown is not giong to be better, and is who he is, Pritchard is good, but is capped. They will likely have to get rid of Tatum by the time they have enough other players around them.

Now this is more likely happen, and will all but confirm without a shred of doubt that the league is rigged, if it wasn't already confirmed with this years farce of a lottery.

Actually this is much more likely than them picking up where they left off. They had the perfect storm of two wings in their prime, some killer role players, shooting all over the place, and rim protectors that could spread the floor. With this CBA and those max deals their depth will never be close to what it was, and Brown will possibly be dealt in a "retool" attempt. Even when (not if) they are gifted the #1 pick, this core will be aging by the time he is ready to roll. They're back in the pack to stay.

Holmes, Watson, Cam Johnson and Gordon. That’s solid.

6’4-6’6” guard who plays bigger than their size because of wingspan and athleticism. The height allows them to dribble lower to the ground and most of those guys have dribble-pass-shoot with good feel on offense.

I wanted this dude in the 2024 draft. Glad he appears to have recovered from the Achilles.

Or he simply could have declined his option and joined them on a vet minimum contract. It would have been a cool ending to his career. But no. Now we get to listen to his passive aggressive BS for the entire season as he's stuck in LA because every team that has a chance to win it all can't or won't absorb his 50 million salary.

If LeBron really wants to go back to CLE, expect Silver to intervene and make it happen.

Cole Anthony to the Bucks is an interesting one. Great opportunity for him and a nice get for Milwaukee given their need for scoring talent in the backcourt.

I've always liked Cole Anthony.

I really respect how much he got after it defensively last year.

Despite being 6'2", be had a 0.9 blocks per-36.

Which was 4th on the team and was higher than Anthony Black (6'7"), Wendell Carter (6'10"), Moritz Wagner (6'11"), Paolo Banchero (6'10"), Franz Wagner (6'10"), etc.

I could see him taking a leap with starter minutes and the ability to play off the gravity of Giannis & Turner as a stretch 5. He’s a good rebounder and has really good stock rates - all he needs is more consistency on offense & he will earn himself a lot of money.

The challenge today is that the volume and efficiency required to be a top 3 option is incredibly high. He’s not on the level of Paolo, Franz or Bane.

And if you can’t meet that threshold, then you need to bring value in other ways, by generating extra possessions, defending at a high level, and spacing the floor, like what Jalen Suggs does.

Are you talking about us tanking and getting our 2026 top 4 protected pick?

If OKC get that, we get our 2027 and Nets our 2028 (9-30).
