After the 3 games of the California Classic my main takeaway is that we should have stayed at 41 and drafted Raynaud.

We will see how Vegas goes, but at this point nobody should get a main roster spot from this team. Here is a few player thoughts:

Armstrong - Only player on the team that looks like an NBA player. He should definitely get a 2way spot and be available as an emergency PG when players are hurt/resting.

Richard - I still don’t like his shooting mechanics… but Warriors staff must think it can work. I did think his activity and overall floor game was decent, so a 2way while he takes as many 3’s as possible in Santa Cruz makes sense to me.

Toohey - Looks miles away physically. Lets see if he settles in during the Vegas games, but he looks overmatched even if he’s trying to make the right plays with effort. Maybe a Jessup situation where he plays another year in Australia?

Rowe - Looked solid and under control, but thats because he’s almost 30 with tons of G-League and a little NBA experience. If Toohey is stashed one more year Rowe could be the classic Dubs 2way vet that can eat NBA minutes when needed.

Nobody else popped in my opinion. Of this group i’d currently be going with 2ways for Armstrong, Richard, Rowe and keeping Toohey in Australia. But that obviously can change in Vegas and then again in training camp.

Filipowski and Ajay have zero need to be in summer league. Let these guys go on vacation.

Yea no one on this team should get minutes in the nba this year. Really just depends on what jk gets on whether or not they get 2ways or actual contracts.

I’m glad you guys are watching summer league, so I don’t have to

Not having a 1st round pick to watch always kills my interest in the offseason

Brea, as advertised, drilling 3's and playing zero defense.

Then Kerr won't play him.

Yang is really nice. It’s a tragedy we couldn’t land him.

He went 16, he was nowhere close to where we were or where we were looking to trade up to.

I heard we were trying to move up to get Walter Clayton in the mid-first so…

But yeah obviously Kuminga wasn’t getting us there.

My main takeaway from last night's game is that Podz needs a friend to tell him how dumb his hair looks.

Yeah, I think that rumor was BS... at least the JK part of it. There's no way that S&T could have been agreed to before the draft without throwing up giant red flags to the league. I think it was most likely a future 1st going out on our end (if Duns was really trying to move up).
