I wasn't a big fan of Essengue pre draft but although he didn't look very good, I can see why people liked him, he moves very well and the length is real. He tried to put the ball on the floor and our guys took it away from him like he was a little kid. Obviously he's super young and he needs some adjusting to the intensity and athletism of the NBA, probably 3 years away from being something, it will be fun to follow his progress.

He’s better. Bledsoe couldn’t shoot or pass. We have seen Martin do both tonight.

Dude, we would be winning the lottery if Martin had a career anywhere close to Bledsoe’s… there’s no way you’re gonna say Martin is better based on a summer league game…

The championship level bucks that we beat in 2019 in the ecf had Bledsoe as their starting pg… didn’t they win like 60 games that year?

People forget Bledsoe’s nickname used to be ‘mini LeBron’

Its how quickly he gets off the floor, it reminds me of Gerald Wallace/Shawn Marion.

Combine that with his length, and quick feet, I really do feel he's going to be an absolute stud on the defensive end.

However I think it's best to let him marinate in the G League for another seasons so he can work on his offensive game. Kid has a super high ceiling.

Aj lawson might have the quickest feet on the team. Can really change direction and hips well

Our roster actually looks half decent. That defense is going to cause teams problems.

What about Mamuskilli...Mamooshkvilli...Mammothkilli...

What about Sandro?

Whoever said they’re looking forward to getting up on Saturday morning and reading all the overreactions is in for a treat tomorrow morning.

But really, you also missed one of the most exciting Raptors summer league games of all time.

‘Billy, don’t you wish you coached for the Knicks!?!

He's very well spoken, it was interesting hearing him putting a brave face on the Bulls prospects when they are clearly dismal. I assume he would have liked coaching the Knicks talent if it had been possible

Used the L word at least twice.

Steve Smith knows talent. Especially at that position. There’s a reason he decides who plays for Team USA

Are you confusing Steve Smith with Grant Hill who heads up USA basketball?

For sure. And maybe I am reading too much into it and maybe he just wanted to make sure he didn’t say the wrong thing in an ongoing negotiation but he didn’t give off the vibe of someone who really desperately wanted Giddey back.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Martin looks bigger than I expected. I don’t think he’s going to have an issue playing the 2. He should eventually be a nice combo guard off the bench.

Encouraging start - for posters who watched the game, which player most exceeded your expectations and which player disappointed the most ( don't include Castleton who everyone said was a dud). thanks.

Is chomche going to play this year?
Google "Hind Rajab"
Total Killed by Israel = 50,000+
Israel kills a child every 45 minutes and ban aid workers from bringing in baby formula
Total being starved by Israel = 500,000 -1,000,000

I would say only if Poeltl or Mamu is injured. No need to rush. All 905 games.
