Spoelstra about Wiggins

I think there’s still real opportunity for growth with him as he gets comfortable with us.
He’s already down in Miami right now and will be bringing his family in. He’s going to be here most of August and September, I think just to get more acclimated. And I think that’s really important for him.

It’s not easy changing teams midseason. But you can see the possibilities of the two-way play. He’s really dynamic defensively. He can guard, in our system, multiple players. Offensively, his skill set is really unique because you can go to him.

Spoelstra likes Wiggins. He has said it so many times and he gave him a bigger role than he had with Warriors.
I hope Wiggins stays with Miami and plays well enough in order to make Pat Riley to like him too.

The addition of Norman Powel can make this team a lot better in offense and defense

They are not going to invest assets on another deandre ayton type

The Heat arent “shopping” Ware, it doesn’t matter what other teams think at this point.

Why do people care so much about how/what others post...it's a damn message board, it's not that serious! Unless they are insulting you personally put them on ignore or just scroll right past anytime you see their name. I have never even used the ignore list, but have no trouble skipping posts by a few posters who don't usually have anything worth reading to offer. Sometimes I'll choose to read the first sentence to get the gist then either check out the rest or move onto the next one, it's really not that hard!

The surprise here is going to be Jovic starting and Keshad Johnson getting a chance to earn backup PF minutes.

It's going to be interesting to see if Ware has the maturity to take Spo's comments the right way and use them as motivation to improve in those areas or if he'll take it personally and mope.

Looks like Bam at the 5 again is back on the table and Jovic takes the 4 spot.

Never heard say Spo said this to Whiteside.

Its hard to get a read on Ware but i saw that he proposed to his Gf during the season so at least that shows he is grounded enough to get married instead of being a Miami playboy but the distractions will always be there. Herro took him under his wing too so i know he is liked in the locker room

Patience; the regular season will be here soon.

I agree with this, but that one dude who keeps acting like Rob Pelinka is driving me insane.

He can get on your nerves for sure but is mostly harmless, that Joe Cronin dude was absolutely maddening however!

Really could be Point Jovic season with that group MWP.

The spacing is better with Bam at the five. Ware still needs to prove himself to Spo to get back that starting spot.

Ware took charge of the situation and forced himself to a better situation where he would get playing time and it got him drafted in the first round. He learn first hand that to get what you want or feel you deserve you need to force the issue. In the NBA we call that demanding a trade.

To be fair, Spo would have had a lot worse to say about a 21 year old Whiteside  We got him after he was humbled a bit from getting bounced out of the league and playing overseas

Fair to say that’s some fairly pointed commentary from Spo on Ware’s offseason. He is not impressed.

It just makes so much more sense with that Herro and Powell lineup. You have Jovic and Herro taking turns running offense. If you don’t have a pure point with Ware and Bam it’s not going to work. Jovic gives the starting group optimal spacing
